Well, personally, I think you're fine. You've stated that it was done because of internet issues and clarified that it's strictly for your own personal enjoyment, so I don't think you've done anything wrong. As TigerAnne pointed out, it's reposting deleted material that'd be the dick move.

Don't feel bad about it. You didn't do anything wrong. I think we said he'd make some kind of statement about this but I don't believe that's happening now so it's safe to assume he's not coming back and he wants it all gone. But what you do with your private document drive is up to you.
Also, I'm going to go on hiatus for a few weeks. I can't say specifically how long it'll be, but I would estimate three weeks? I need to get back on top of things and take away the pressure of posting for a little while. I'm also feeling resentful of being on this website in general. But don't think I'm disappearing or anything.

A few weeks later…
‘And now, for the results of the mayoral election.’
‘I, Jeri Taylor, Returning Officer for the Sunset Valley constituency, declare that the total number of votes given to each candidate was as follows:
‘Sheryl Morton of the Green party, 1,214 votes.’
‘Miranda Glover of the Social Democratic party, 18,493 votes.’
‘Frank Butler, independent, 587 votes.’
‘Tate Farrington of the Leading People party, 22,814 votes.’
Therefore, I give public notice that Tate Farrington is duly elected as Mayor for the Sunset Valley constituency.’
‘Oh, Christ.’
‘Cooool. This is what I stayed up for.’
‘Ugh. To be fair, I don’t think you’d have been able to sleep regardless.’
‘No, me neither. It’s just a shame to go to bed on such bad news.’
‘So, we’re fucked, then. And I don’t just mean from an ego perspective, either. Sure, it fucking sucks that this is gonna go to his head and make him feel even more important, but what the hell is he gonna do for the town?’
‘Nothing good, I don’t think.’
‘Well, there’s only so much damage he can do. I don’t think this should affect our day-to-day lives too much. It’s not an absolute power. He does have others to answer to.’
‘Yeah, like my fucking fist if I see him.’
‘Don’t you dare.’
‘People of Sunset Valley, thank you so much!’
‘I cannot express how honoured I am to have been elected to this position. I have worked long and hard on this journey to finally reach this goal. I have fought through bankruptcy, the death of my first wife… Plenty of trials and tribulations stood in my way, but they have made me the man I am today. I am a father of six and also a grandfather. I can tell you the wonderful news that my wife Roxanne is expecting my seventh child-’
‘…That’s a joke, right?’
‘Oh no…’
‘That’s all we need.’
‘I really don’t understand… Why would she do this?’
‘Perhaps it was unplanned.’
‘I hope so. God, I thought I’d got through to her… This changes everything.’
‘What difference does it even make?’
‘It’s the difference between an accidental baby you don’t want to get rid of, and deciding you want to tie yourself to him for another eighteen years.’
‘It’s the same end result. Fuck him. Fuck her. I’d sooner tear out my own uterus with a knife than force a kid to grow up with a bastard like him!’
‘Come on. Let’s not get worked up over this. There’s nothing we can do.’
‘And finally, I can announce that I am taking part in a trial of the Age Freeze potion, which appears to be having fantastic results. If necessary, I am prepared to serve this town for as long as I live, no matter how long that may be!’
‘……….’
‘…What…?’
‘I don’t… How?’
‘…I think I’m just gonna get to bed, and pretend this day didn’t happen.’
‘Me too…’
The next day…
‘It’s 1PM now, are we going on break?’
‘Oh, yeah. Sure.’
‘Right, then I’ll see you in a bit. I’m heading out.’
‘Where you goin’?’
‘…I’m going to give Roxxi a piece of my mind.’
‘And you think that’s gonna help?’
‘Well, nobody else will.’
‘I don’t think it’s a good idea.’
‘Why? She’s having another baby with him even though she knows what a piece of shit he is! This isn’t like last time. This is a choice she made, and she needs calling out over this!’
‘And what if Tate’s there?’
‘He won’t be, he’ll be at work. Probably moving into his shiny new fucking office at City Hall.’
‘Look, I get it. Last night sucked. But you ain’t gonna do no good by goin’ over and startin’ a fight with Roxxi.’
‘This isn’t right! We told her, we told her all of it! She’s picked his side! She’s just as fucking bad!’
‘No, she ain’t. She ain’t as bad as him. C’mon, Aria, even you don’t believe that! She ain’t killed or abused nobody.’
‘She supports him. She doesn’t give a fuck what he did to me, Ellis, Raya or anybody else! She’s got her shitty rich husband and her whole life sorted! Why are you defending her? She’s picking money above everything else!’
‘You know what? I can’t say what her motivations are. I never met the woman. I don’t know if she’s a scared victim or a golddigger who don’t give a shit. Or maybe it ain’t that simple. Maybe it’s a bit of both. Sure, it don’t look good on her. But if you do go see her, don’t blow up on her, ‘cos that ain’t gonna get to the bottom of it. You know what they say. You catch more flies with honey than with vinegar.’
‘Ellis already did the whole good cop routine and look where that got us. It didn’t make a blind bit of difference! She is willingly having a child with a piece of shit, what part of that don’t you get?!’
‘The part where she’s spent all her adult life with him, guided into it by people twice her age? Her whole fuckin’ family takin’ part in makin’ sure she stays? Divorce ain’t easy, Aria, especially when you got a traditional family pressurin’ you. And I bet they don’t think much of abortion, either. Just listen to me. Don’t do this shit while you’re angry.’
‘…Yeah, you’re right.’
‘I’m sorry you’re in this position. I know it’s gotta be tough.’
‘I’m mad at her. I’m mad at everyone. This shitty fucking town voted in a shitty fucking mayor. If I ever meet anyone who voted for him, I’m writing them off for life.’
‘Don’t blame you, man.’
‘Hey… Hey, it’s okay. It’s gonna be okay.’
‘No it’s not. None of it’s okay. It’s never gonna be okay again.’
‘Come here.’
‘It’s a bad day. Maybe it’ll be a bad week. But it ain’t the end of the world. He ain’t gonna be in power forever.’
‘He said he would!’
‘He can say what he wants, it don’t necessarily mean it’s true. He’s gotta prove himself first. And even if he does, it don’t mean he’ll keep the job forever. Take it a day at a time, alright?’
‘I always thought, at least he’ll die someday. But now he won’t! We’re stuck with him forever!’
‘He can’t age, there’s a difference. He can still have an accident, get sick or any other way of dyin’. You just never know.’
‘I wanted him fucking gone, Stan. I thought it’d be guaranteed, now we don’t even get that. I feel sick.’
‘I’m sorry, Aria. I wish there was more I could do.’

My life was a bit chaotic for a bit, but I made sure to still check periodically, and at least add a reaction to some of the story posts. Not gonna lie, I also laughed at some of their reactions to the stuff Tate says. Stan being a good friend is one of my favorite things ever. I hope your hiatus goes well. Make sure to take care of yourself!
I can't adult today, maybe tomorrow.

It's either laugh or scream, and I wouldn't blame people for taking either option.

Thanks so much! I love Stan as a friend too. He can be immature at times, but he's surprisingly insightful too, and loyal as hell. He's exactly the kind of friend Aria needs.

Okay so... after a thousand years, guess who finally, finally has an update!
Again, I'm so sorry that it's taken me such a ridiculously long time to do anything. So, in order to make up for it, this is a longer update. Neither Nat or me wanted the wedding to drag on for many more posts, so this update will finish it entirely. If you need or want a refresher on everything so far, then here are the previous links for this monster of an event:
1, 2, 3, 4.
Also there's several YouTube links in this update - make sure you check them out. And I apologise in advance for any hearing loss. :P
'I never did get the chance to congratulate you on the baby, so congratulations.'
'Babies. We are having twins.'
'Oh, wow!'
'It's why I'm so massive at only six months. Well, just about seven.'
'And both of Nari's baby mamas are roughly the same.'
'Y'know, I was avoidin' mentioning that.'
'Helpful, Genaro.'
'Thanks, I try.'
'Try being a shitstirrer, absolutely.'
'Lucky Ettore, though, getting four grandkids?'
'Oh, yes! Giselle hates me.'
'Well I hope yours are better behaved than mine. Not only is Sabina still acting like SimNation's youngest cat burglar, she decided to make a treasure hunt for our cats. By emptying pouches of cat food across the house.'
'Do you know where I found some yesterday?'
'No, where?'
'In a sock.'
'...Oh.'
'And she'd stashed the sock behind a wardrobe.'
'Yep, that sounds like our Sabina!'
'I must admit, the prospect of twins is scary. As I'm sure it was for you when it was me and Nari.'
'We coped! And you will too.'
'Oh yeah, we coped too, you'll be fine.'
'...Hey, I just realised something. We have so many twins in the family! Mama and Papa with Nari and Feleti, me and Kat with Lucrezia and Nina, and now Feleti and Verity with theirs!'
'Genaro, baby, the rest of us already knew that.'
'How's your pregnancy going, Julianna?'
'Okay, but I'm still getting cravings thick and fast. And it's been difficult to sleep, lately. Beyond that, fine. How about yours?'
'It's going well. It's very tiring, though.'
'I can imagine. I'm tired enough with just one, frankly.'
'At least we can make the most of people being nice to us.'
'Hey. You okay?'
'Okay, thank you. Glad to be able to eat as much as I want without anyone judging, but I think I'm done now. How about you?'
'Don't blame you. I'm okay... but there's something I need to tell you.'
'That sounds serious. What is it?'
'I feel bad, 'cos I don't wanna ruin your day, but... I'm pregnant.'
'Oh! Um, I guess "congratulations" isn't appropriate here...?'
'Not really.'
'Oh God, wait, do you think it might be Abraxas'?'
'Yeah. I can't rule it out. I'm sorry. He wouldn't use a condom...'
'Yeah, I'm not surprised. He never wants to use one with me, either. That's how I ended up having two kids with him behind his last wife's back. It's okay. It happens. Does he know?'
'Uh huh. Tate told him. He was pretty pissed at both of us.'
'Wait, he does?! He never mentioned it to me! You'd think he would've said something!'
'Yeah. I figured you didn't know since you didn't mention it. That's shit...'
'Ugh, that's just typical. Maybe he was hoping I wouldn't find out.'
'Well, I wouldn't have kept it from you. I'm sorry. It'd be better all round if I had an abortion, but I can't bring myself to do it. I don't know why, but I want it.'
'It's okay. I can't throw any judgement to having an unplanned pregnancy since I'm on my third. I'm just glad you told me, and I don't blame you for keeping the baby either.'
'...I don't think I can stick around to the end. Based on what Indigo said, I can't let Abraxas near it... nor should I stay with Tate.'
'I feel exactly the same! I feel like I've been blind all this time, because ever since Indigo mentioned Abraxas hitting Aura and Jezebeth, it's like... it's like I'm noticing things more easily now. The boys get either more aggressive or withdrawn whenever Abraxas is around. The twins definitely act up more with him. I haven't seen any bruises or anything, but... I've stayed too long as it is.'
'Wow. Did you speak to Indigo again?'
'No. I've wanted to, but I'm paranoid about Abraxas finding out. I feel stuck, thanks to this pregnancy. I don't begrudge the baby or anything, it's not the baby's fault, but... how am I going to leave with a newborn? But I can't stay either. But the twins aren't even mine, will I be able to take them? Is it better to stay to make sure they're okay? But then that's exposing Sam and Nehemiah to potential abuse. I've been going around in circles like this a lot.'
'Well... If I can manage to get out, you can too. We should have a plan, not rush it... That Nalini, Edward's girlfriend, she said she'd help me. Maybe she'd help you too.'
'Who is she? Is she here?'
'Yeah, she's that vampire with the white hair.'
'Ooohh, I saw her earlier, I know who you mean! Maybe I can catch her by herself later...'
'Good idea. She helped Roxxi, too. Fuck, I'm so stupid.'
'Me too. ...Where do you think you'd go? I don't know where I could leave to.'
'Me neither... Somewhere I can find work, so I can support three babies. This is gonna suck.'
'Yeah... If I can get Phaedra's twins out with me too, I'd have five kids once the baby's born. I can't just leave them behind...'
'You're right... We should come together again sometime, talk about this in a safe place. You want my number?'
'Yeah, that'd be great. Thanks. Nobody can get suspicious about that since we're openly friends.'
'Exactly. We can just be talking about girly crap, in their eyes.'
'...Lazarus, what the fuck are you doing?'
'I'm having a dance! What does it look like?'
'...A dad dance, by the looks of it. There's not even any music playing, what the fuck?'
'Lazarus is right, you don't need music to have a dance!'
'...It does help thou-'
'- Oh my God!'
'At least he's not pole dancing.'
'Oh Christ.'
'What year is it?'
'Damn, it'll be the Harlem Shake next.'
'Yeaaahhh, I was just thinking that was pretty fucking dated.'
'Just because something's a few years old now, doesn't mean it's suddenly worthless!'
'Please, for the love of God, do something else. Anything else. Hell, go set up a gay corner or something.'
'Oooh. Now that does sound like a good idea! What do you think, my sweet hubsy-wubsy?'
'I think that sounds like an excellent idea, you tantalising man! Thank you for the idea, Indigo!'
'...Fuck me solid.'
'Hey, I like the sound of a gay corner.'
'Well, don't expect me to join in.'
'Aw fuck, man, I'm disappointed. I ain't got anyone to lez out with.'
'I'm gay and single.'
'Well shit, ain't that lucky?'
'I like the idea of a gay corner, but not with my brother.'
'Fantastic.'
'We could set up lesbo corner somewhere else.'
'I'm down for that! Well. The idea. Not joinin' in with you two. I don't wanna get punched in the fanny.'
'I've never done that before. I did kick Tate in the balls, though.'
'Well, shit son. I dunno much 'bout this guy, but I did get a strict tellin' not to go messin' with him or that Abraxas dude. Shame really, if they're that bad sounds like I'd get a lotta fun dickin' about with 'em.'
'They're total wankers, but I don't think they dare mess with me now.'
'Hah, nice! Y'know, I didn't expect to see anyone else wi' horns here. Well, 'sides from Maddy, anyway, I already knew she was invited.'
'Yeah, I'm kinda surprised. I'm usually the odd one out.'
'Yeah man, ditto!'
'So what are you? I'm a demon.'
'Well that explains the voice, then! I'm half dragon, which explains the tail. An' the claws, but I'm guessin' not many people're gonna be lookin' at my feet.'
'Dad would. He likes feet, apparently.'
'...Oh. Sucks for him, 'cause it's a fuckin' pain gettin' these damn things into some shoes.'
'...Gross.'
'...Any other supernaturals regret enhanced hearing?'
'...Yes.'
'Absolutely.'
'...What did they say?'
'Let's put it like this, if you had the opportunity to discover what Abraxas likes in bed, would you take it?'
'...Only if I had a free pass to chop it off afterwards.'
'Yes well, the rest of us didn’t have a choice at all, so your curiosity is probably best left ignored.'
'But if you really did want to cut it off, I'd cover for you.'
'Tempting. Though I'm surprised you're condoning my genital mutilation remarks. You don't usually.'
'I suppose I have to let you have your fun. And it is Abraxas.'
'Everything okay with the call?'
'Can't talk about it here.'
'God, this is awkward.'
'I didn't have you down as a homophobe.'
'Very funny. You know what I mean.'
'Feel bad for me, they're my students. Anyway, speaking of making people feel awkward, I don't think Tate is down with all of this gay activity.'
'All the more reason to do it, then.'
'Couldn't agree more.'
'So, uh... they're really going for it, huh? That's kind of awkward.'
'A bit. How does Abraxas feel about having two gay kids?'
'To be honest, I'm not even sure if he was actually aware of it before today. That'd involve paying attention to his kids in a genuinely parental way. I didn't realise Wednesday was into girls, though...!'
'No... Not really the best choice of girl, either.'
'Oh. Really? Who is she?'
'She's the daughter of that psycho who's been targeting us. The man who hurt Tristan. Didn't expect her to be here.’
'Holy shit. I wonder if Wednesday knows... B-But she might be better than him, right? I mean, Abraxas' kids aren't like him...'
'...Case in point.'
'Hope so. That looks very... wet.'
'...Sounds it, too. I mean, good for them, I'm glad Lazarus has found someone he's compatible with, but wow.'
'Yeah.... I don't usually like making out at the best of times though, I'm a kinda get right to it girl.'
'It differs for me, personally. Depends how desperate I am.'
'Makes sense. But then I've fucked some really useless guys, so maybe it would've been better to stick to the making out. It's not that they're after, though.'
'Yeah, but a counterpoint - you'd have to make out with Tate.'
'It's okay, he doesn't like it either. But you know he doesn't like much that isn't focused on him.'
'Ugh, yeah. And that's one reason why I'm not giving him another go. Especially not while this pregnant, I'd like to have some attention lavished on me as well, instead of being the sole performer for someone else.'
'Does it make you want it more, being pregnant...? I did.'
'Yeah. I didn't think it was possible for my sex drive to get any higher, buuuuut... Which really sucks, considering I'm aching a lot of the time too.'
'Ooof, poor you. And I bet you'd have trouble finding a stranger at this size. And Abraxas doesn't deserve it.'
'God, definitely not. Maybe I should get into the spirit of things and find a woman too.'
'Have you ever tried it?'
'No, but I'm curious. How about you?'
'The same. They say lesbians have much better sex than straight women.'
'Should we...? The guys shouldn't be too bothered, since they already slept with us both.'
'Yeah, why shouldn't we get to swap, too? Sure, why the hell not?'
'Exactly! Let's go and find somewhere quiet. Thank God I've got a nail kit in my bag.'
'I think this sounds like a good a time as any to start the karaoke. Reckon you'll do anything?'
'Oh, I'm not much of a singer. So probably not.'
'Okay. Wish me luck.'
'I'm sure you'll be great.'
'Ah, you're Indigo's maid of honour, aren't you? So to speak.'
'Yeah, I woulda worn the dress too, but I don't think it'd have gone down well. It's cool, I wore it on the hen do.'
'Oh, wow, now that's dedication to the role! I must admit, I had been looking forward to getting to dance with a young woman, but I can't fault your effort.'
'Thanks. Well, I don't see why we can't still dance, if you got no objections to dancin' with an older dude.’
'Why not? It's already been an unconventional wedding. I dare say it'll give some people a good laugh!'

At the risk of tooting my own horn as co-writer, I think this is a marvel in TS3 storytelling. Your staging was absolutely fantastic despite all the difficulties, and not something I had a hand in here. That part is all on you.
On a personal note, seeing everyone here again and rereading the writing I'd forgot from months ago really made me smile. Kinda feels like coming home.

ME TOO! - A tour de force!
Richard and Ophelia getting stoned was probably for the best, there being so much going on downstairs that would have otherwise gotten them hot and bothered. So much better to be hot and mellow in the tub. And so a good time was had by all - except Tate and Abraxas. Perfect outcome!

Legend is history as we would like it to be. We pick through the dusts of time for what is worth keeping and, here and there, we occasionally find treasure.

Thank you guys! That really means a lot to me. <3
I really appreciate the kindness, patience and understanding you guys have shown me with my sporadic posting. I know my unexpected and overly long hiatus slowed the thread activity down and played absolute murder with Nat's own posting schedule and I've felt really awful for letting people down. So to see people still interested in what I have to share and still enjoying it really helps, and reminds me that it's totally fucking worthwhile.
...Of course, being able to focus on smaller scenes with less Sims in one place is definitely going to help Jesus Christ lmao.
But no, seriously. Thank you guys for being so supportive. <3

And no paparazzi taking interesting pictures, especially of Tate having a private conversation in the restroom with a known crime family...
(Granted, pictures of the actual conversation would not be terribly damaging, but the simple fact that there was a conversation and Tate was not seriously damaged after it could be manipulated to cause trouble.)

Oh shit, I never even thought of that. That's actually funny as hell. Media reports about Tate being in the pockets of the Mafia. Gallos come out like "FUCK NO, WE CAN'T STAND TATE".

Hahahaha I love that. That's exactly what would happen.
I'm back, and this time it's with a present day update. I'm going to continue with these for a little while, but I'd like to hear your thoughts on what I should do about the past posts. I'll have to finish them up, but I also know I can't make them as an addition to present day posts while still updating once a week. I wish I could, but I can't do it. So what should I do about them? Post present and past updates in alternate weeks? Or alternate for longer periods? Any thoughts are welcome. Part of me views the past posts as a bit of a burden, but they were necessary since the quality of old posts just wasn't there. I still have a couple of plotlines to get through and they shouldn't be rushed for the sake of my impatience.
Eli, making his first appearance in this post, is BL00DIEDHELL's character.
‘Hey, Mr Mayor?’
‘You have some explaining to do, Austin.’
‘Huh? I thought you didn’t want me to do the job yet? Thought you were waiting til after this wedding?’
‘Yes, and that was yesterday. The waiting isn’t the issue, it’s what happened at the wedding that is. Namely, the fact that you’ve been telling tales.’
‘I… don’t know what you mean.’
‘Then explain to me just how the fuck Stanley Cooper’s family knows all about how I gave you Nyla’s address.’
‘Cooper’s…family?’
‘Yes, that’s what I said! Oh, didn’t you know? They’re mafia. Turns out they’re very protective of the woman ever since she got involved with that idiot.’
‘Shit… what happened?’
‘They cornered me.’
‘Fuck. Are you okay, sir-?’
‘Oh, just peachy! Well? I’m waiting on this explanation. Because I certainly never told anyone about our arrangement. Who have you been talking to?’
‘Oh fuck, man, I don’t know!’
‘…Oh. Oh, shit. Yeah… I think I know now.’
‘Go on then.’
‘I told another one of our crew. I thought he could be trusted! He’s one of the higher ups, everyone respects him! I didn’t think he’d blab to anyone!’
‘Well, evidently he’s still friendly with Cooper.’
‘I’m so sorry, Mr Mayor. I had no idea it’d end like this.’
‘You need to make it up to me with this job, Donovan. Fucking do it right, and for the love of God, don’t drop me in it this time. Understood?’
‘Right, of course. I’ll get on that ASAP.’
‘Good.’
‘Hey, Eli. Got a proposition for you.’
‘Sorry mate, I’m flattered but I don’t swing that way.’
‘Not like that, man. Not gone over to that side yet, thank fuck. I meant a job.’
‘Oh yeah? What job is it?’
‘I just need someone to help me rough a guy up. It’ll be really easy money.’
‘Oh sure, who’s the unlucky guy?’
‘This alien kid. He’s the mayor’s grandson. Tried to do him in, y’know.'
‘Wait, the mayor’s grandkid? Won’t he be like, a kid? In his teens?’
‘I think he’s 18 now.'
‘Yeah, that’s still a bit on the ridiculous side, man. I ain’t helpin’ you beat up no kid.'
‘What, why? You don’t have to do much, I’ve got the brunt of it.'
‘Good, then you ain’t gonna need my help, will ya? Problem solved!’
‘No, ‘cos his cunt girlfriend’s gonna be there too, and I don’t wanna go into it two against one.’
‘This the girl that whipped your ass before?’
‘Whoa, hold the fuck up. She didn’t whip my ass. Bitch just went crazy.’
‘Oh, so you let her kick you ten ways from Sunday? Pretty gentlemanly of you!’
‘Fuck no, man. I held back ‘cos she’s Suzie’s kid, but it doesn’t matter no more. Fucking brat needs teaching a lesson.’
‘If you held back, then ain’t that exactly lettin’ her kick your ass in, ‘cause you were “lookin’ out” for your lady? Sounds like you got it handled if you’re takin’ off the kid gloves though. I’m gonna go grab some shit to eat though, so y’know. Have fun.'
‘Well, whatever then. You’ll be the one missing out. The mayor’s loaded, but suit yourself.'
‘Least you won’t have to share the money then, huh?’
‘Hello?’
‘Yo, you’ll never guess what bellend breath just asked me to do.'
‘Who the fuck is “bellend breath”?’
‘Austin. He just came over to me askin’ if I could help him with a job. Beatin’ up some barely legal kid. Well, two actually, but the mayor’s only payin’ for one of em.’
‘Yeah? Who is this kid?’
‘His alien grandson’s the one bein’ paid out for, but Austin was bangin’ on about teachin’ his “cunt girlfriend” a lesson. I’m guessin’ that’s the girl who kicked his ass before. Oh no, sorry, the girl he “held back” from beatin’ up properly ‘cause of Suzie. Whatever helps the big fuckin’ baby sleep at night.’
‘Shit. Are you serious?’
‘Yeah man, deadly. The alien kid tried to do gramps in accordin’ to Austin, and that’s why he’s after payback. Sounds like he’s willing to pay out the ass if Austin manages it.’
‘Oh, fuck me.'
‘I told him I ain’t doin’ it, by the way. He got a bit sulky with me for it, but I ain’t down with tryin’ to beat in no eighteen year old’s face.’
‘Yeah, good, ‘cos then I’d have to kick your arse. That’s Jude he’s talking about. She was working for me a while back.’
‘Yeah, I did wonder. Him bein’ salty over gettin’ beat up by a girl was a pretty big indicator.’
‘He’s a fucking scumbag.’
‘Yeah, no shit.’
‘Thanks for telling me. I gotta do something about this.’
‘No problem. Thought you’d like a heads up.’
A while later…
‘Boss. Fuck, I need your help, I really do.’
‘Why, what’s up?’
‘Well first off, Masters is a fucking traitor.’
‘You what?’
‘Yeah, he is. You know I got my ex’s address from the mayor? I told Masters about it, didn’t I? And now the mayor got fucked up over it and it must’ve been ‘cos Masters went blabbing!’
‘Wait. Slow down. What’s Masters got to do with your ex?’
‘Alright. A while back, he came to my place, asking me if I knew where he could get info like addresses. And I told him you could get them from the mayor. I told him I used the mayor to get Nyla’s address.’
‘He asked you where he could get info like that? But… he already knows that. He’s been with us twelve years, he’s a fucking Lieutenant, of course he knows about our arrangement with the mayor! Didn’t you find that suspicious?’
‘No? I had no reason to doubt him! I asked him why he didn’t just go to you and he said he didn’t wanna waste your time, ‘cos you’re busy-’
‘…Fucking hell, Donovan. So what happened? Who “fucked up the mayor”?’
‘Stanley Cooper’s family. He said they’re the mafia.’
‘………..Great, fucking fantastic. Now it makes sense.’
‘So you knew about that?’
‘’Course I did. Why do you think Cooper was allowed to leave us with no issues? His fucking family’s way bigger than we are. That’s a fight I’m really not interested in starting.’
‘Oh…’
‘But I still had no reason to view Cooper as the enemy. That’s why I didn’t have any issue with Masters staying friends with him. Fuck, though… I trusted Seth. I thought he was loyal to us.’
‘Yeah, well, he’s definitely not. He lied to me to get the answers he wanted, then he passed that info on and now it’s backfired on me.’
‘The last thing we want to do is ruin our relationship with the mayor. That agreement is fucking important. Shit.’
‘I still need to do this job for him… He told me I need to make it up to him. I tried asking Eli for backup, but he refused.’
‘Fucking idiot… You don’t just refuse to do a job for the mayor. Fine, he’s getting it later. Masters too. Look, I’ll go on this job with you. It needs doing right.’
‘Thanks a lot, boss… I owe you.’
‘Yeah, you really do. I didn’t need this shit. This is a big mess you and Masters left us in.’
‘I know… I’m sorry.’
‘Well, this ends tonight, if possible. Let’s get down to Landry’s place, see if the alien’s there.’

You're welcome Bloo ^^
As for the updates, well, I think whatever decision you come up with should be one that fit you first, Nat ^^
Personally, I think alternating weekly or any schedule you have seems to be a good idea ^^
Anyway, that was an enjoyable chapter ^^
Eli got it right, and look like there'll be some asskicking soon and it won't be a two on two since Seth's taking mesures too apparently

As for the updates, pick a schedule that suits you. Maybe 4 weeks for the Current ones, since you enjoy them more, followed by 2 weeks for Past?
(How does Tate think that this attack is NOT going to end up biting him in the butt? "I didn't have anything to do with it!" is not terribly convincing when the attack is launched by someone who is known to owe you a favor...)

Could this be how Tate goes down in a blaze of unglory? Can we hope?? And if Austin goes down with him, then that's a bonus.

Thanks for the suggestion! That's a good idea, I think it'll work.
Okay so I feel I want to warn in advance: don't expect too much out of Friday's update. It's not my best work and I'm making the most out of a bad situation. I'll go into more detail after the post in question.

So I want to do a little bonus post before my next proper update, but as much as it sucks to have to ask you guys to wait again, kind of ain't got a choice. I've been told this afternoon that I've got a fever and a fungal infection so I'm kind of feeling like death right now.
On that note, if someone wants to perform a mercy kill on me, please, feel free.

Get well soon!
‘Jude?’
‘Oh, Seth? Hey, what’s up?’
‘You’re in danger. You both are. Are you and Charon at your place?’
‘Yeah? What, Charon’s in danger?’
‘Yeah. The mayor’s hired Austin to fuck him up.’
‘What?! Why?’
‘Something about him trying to kill him. Shit. I’m coming over.’
‘Oh, fuck… is he doing it tonight?’
‘I don’t know. Eli didn’t say.’
‘Eli? What's he got to do with anything?’
‘Austin asked him to help and he said no. Whether he’s on his way, trying to get more backup, I don’t know, Jude. But listen, I ain’t gonna let it happen, alright?’
‘How can you stop it? If it’s Tate’s orders…’
‘Fuck Tate! He ain’t getting to do whatever he wants! I don’t give a shit if he don’t like it or if Austin don’t like it, I told you I was gonna protect my crew and I’ll do it! And that includes Charon as well, tonight.’
‘Oh, Seth…’
‘It’s okay. Listen, lock the doors, get him to call his dad. He’s a cop, ain’t he?’
‘Yeah… I’ll do that.’
‘Then I’ll see you soon.’
‘See you.’
‘What’s going on?’
‘It’s Tate. He’s ordered Austin to hurt you, over the meteor.’
‘Oh shit…’
‘Seth’s coming to help us. He said to call your dad. If Austin does come tonight, he’s not getting the chance to get to you.’
‘O-Okay…’
‘It’s gonna be fine. Seth’s coming, Ellis will be once you ring him, and I’m locking the doors.’
‘Let him fucking try it.’
‘Dad?’
‘Hey, Charon.’
‘Can you come to Jude’s place, like, right now? Austin’s coming to beat me up!’
‘What?’
‘Seth called Jude to tell her! Grandad’s sending him to get revenge about the meteor!’
‘Oh Christ. Okay, I’ll be there ASAP!’
‘Thanks.’
‘Lock all the doors and don’t answer them!’
‘Yeah, obviously!’
‘Right, just hold tight!’
‘He’s coming.’
‘It’s gonna be alright. Even if he does get in, I’ll beat the shit out of him again.’
‘I don’t wanna risk you getting hurt on my behalf.’
‘Ah, it won’t get that far. I promise.’
‘I’m really sorry.’
‘About this, or about the meteor?’
‘All of it. I was stupid to think this wouldn’t come back to bite me in the ass.’
‘You were desperate, okay? You don’t deserve any of this shit.’
‘This the place?’
‘Yeah, Boss. She only just moved in recently. Some other bitch owns it and started renting it to her, I think.’
‘Right.’
‘You see anyone?’
‘Not much to see. Lights are on, though. I reckon she's gotta be in. Dunno about the alien.’
‘Let's see then, shall we?’
‘Oh, shit, is that him?!’
‘I’ll go look.’
‘Ah, fuck, let’s get upstairs!’
‘Oi! I saw you in there!’
‘You can pick locks, can’t you?’
‘’Course I can.’
‘Get on that, then.’
‘Sure thing. I kinda expected needing to. Not exactly the first time someone didn’t wanna pay their debt.’
‘Hey! What do you two think you’re doing?’
‘Ah, shit.’
‘Oh, good evening, officer.’
‘Step away from there! You’ve got no reason to be here.’
‘Not doing anything wrong, officer.’
‘Oh, really? So why are you at a young woman’s house, then?’
‘Just seeing if she’s in.’
‘Get going, both of you.’
‘Why?’
‘Shut up, Austin. Don’t question it. We’ll do what the good officer wants, won’t we?’
‘Yeah, sure.’
‘Keeping my eye on you two!’
‘It’s okay, kids! They’re gone!’
‘Oh, thank God for that!’
‘Thanks for coming, Dad.’
‘Are you both okay?’
‘Yeah, we’re fine. Oh, there’s Seth!’
‘Fucking hell, sorry. I’m here.’
‘Hey! I’m glad you made it.’
‘I- I got here when Officer Farrington was already outside, so I stayed back. Sorry, I should’ve gone up to them…’
‘No, you did the right thing. If you’d got involved, you’d have got yourself into a lot of trouble, wouldn’t you?’
‘Yeah… Shit, I shouldn’t be talking about this.’
‘Well, if you hadn’t, these two would’ve got hurt. So… thanks for raising the alarm.’
‘Don’t mention it. I wasn’t gonna let that happen. Anyway, let’s get in properly.’
‘God, I had such a lucky escape…’
‘…Did you really try to off your grandad?’
‘Um, it’s a long story…’
‘It’s fine. I’ve already heard bits and pieces. Sounded pretty justified to me.’
‘This isn’t a good topic really. But you’re right. So why does Tate have the likes of Austin doing his dirty work for him? And Blake? Why is Blake involved?’
‘I probably shouldn’t snitch...’
‘Look, it won’t get back to him. I’ve no intention of going after Blake. Austin, well, I feel like that’s a different matter…’
‘…What are you gonna do to Austin?’
‘I don’t know yet, Charon. But God, he was going to hurt you. I can’t let someone get away with that.’
‘They both would’ve. Because they do work for the mayor. They’ve got an agreement.’
‘Yeah, that makes a lot of sense, come to think of it… Must be why Austin bribed Tate for Nyla’s address. He knows they’re on the same team.’
‘Right. I had to ask Austin specifically though, when I was getting that info for Stan. Wanted to be sure before dragging the mayor’s name into it. I think you know why that’s a risky move. You did know about that, right? Your sister was there. In Stan’s store.’
‘Oh, yeah, I did. Everything Tate-related gets back to me. We’re all in it together when it comes to him. Hey, I’ve no intention of exposing you. I know how these things work. But even if I don’t get to Austin myself, either Stanley or someone else on my side probably will… but honestly, I’d rather it was me.’
‘Damn, Dad, you’re kind of turning into a badass.’
‘It’s just what parenting should look like.’
‘Anyway, I should get going. Jude, do you wanna come back to mine? I don’t feel good about leaving you on your own.’
‘Yeah, if you don’t mind… Thanks for everything, Seth.’
‘It’s alright. You know you can call me any time you need me.’
Oh boy, this update.
This plotline obviously arose as a consequence of the whole Charon meteor plotline. The very first time I wrote this (a whole three years ago!), Charon did get a beating, and Jude came to save the day. But I changed my mind on it because it didn't make a lot of sense. Austin randomly pulling Charon off the streets into a random alley to beat him up wasn't great writing. So as a result, he had to be found somewhere else. Except... Jude's place is really the only logical location. Which led to the following further dilemmas:
Which meant that the attack was stopped before it could be carried out. I'm sorry it didn't lead to a bloodbath or a violent confrontation. I know this isn't the most satisfying ending this post could have had, but under the circumstances I think it was the most logical one. Honestly? I regret alluding to the beating in the first place. I did that at the start of January 2018, over a year ago, and I would have been very tempted to scrap the whole thing if not for that. Part of me even regrets the entire meteor plotline, but I feel like people at least enjoyed that. And hey, Tate got fucked up by it, so it's not all bad.
Coming back to this after a year has been harder than I expected. If this post was lacking, I want to assure you that it's not the end of this storyline. There will be retribution. But Tate and Austin are sticking around as villains for a while yet.

Austin randomly pulling Charon off the streets into a random alley to beat him up wasn't great writing. So as a result, he had to be found somewhere else. Except... Jude's place is really the only logical location. Which led to the following further dilemmas:
- If Charon was at Jude's place, obviously she would have to be there too. Maybe she could have stepped out for a minute but it seems convenient.
- If it's both Charon and Jude there, Austin knows it's a two on one situation. He isn't going to go in alone even against two teenagers, since one of them had already kicked his ass before.
- Austin needed help to do it. So who was I going to pick? I first considered one of the other gang members who is yet to be properly introduced, but I don't intend to expand on him yet and I didn't want to bring him in just for this.
- That only really left BL00DIEDHELL's Eli. Who she tells me wouldn't agree to it. That's fine, since it still works, but doesn't resolve Austin's issue.
- In the end I decided Blake himself would go. Under the circumstances it's not too implausible he'd agree.
- But since Eli knew about it, and he knew who Jude was, he informed Seth about the attack ahead of time.
- Seth knowing about it ahead of time gives him the chance to warn Jude.
- If Jude is warned in time, there's no way she and Charon wouldn't call Ellis for help.
Which meant that the attack was stopped before it could be carried out. I'm sorry it didn't lead to a bloodbath or a violent confrontation.
