Default Sims 2 Super Collection MacBook Pro
I know everyone has heard [rumors?] that games can ruin your computer.
I have read up on it and most do say that it is not true but some do say motherboard and things in that nature burn out.
Since laptops aren't really made for gaming(unless specifically gaming laptop) how safe is it to play The Sims 2 Super Collection on a MBP? 2.9Ghz dual-core Intel Core i5 and turbo boost up to 3.3Ghz with Intel Iris Graphics 550.
I'm sorry, I know how to use computers fine but don't know much about them.
My MBP was quite expensive and I do NEED it for other things than playing sims(college) so I'm just trying to be sure its safe to play. Thank you!

That should be absolutely fine, just make sure you follow all the usual laptop advice (e.g. put it on a table when it's in use, not on your lap; dust out the vents every now and then etc.)

What I lack in decorum, I make up for with an absence of tact.
