MTS doesn't seem to have a real proper poetry thread, so I'll take it upon me to create one. If you've got a poem, why not share it? It doesn't matter if it is good or bad, all that matters is the creativity to be had.

Father and Child

Thy master of cycles,
Father yet child,
Old yet young,
Speak of me in peace,
And thus life must be fed.
Sacrifice until near death,
Summon sorrow or fear,
A hostility taken in your trust.
Insufferable worship for I must,
To secure a place of remembrance,
In the hall of the forgotten ones.
Thy master of cycles.
Father and child.
Old and done.

I'mma total necro this thread. Can't believe it has been 3 years.

Hush

I am the one who let you fall.
I am in gain of what I lost.
I am the one behind every hush,
Of every song and every breath.

Its desires and dreams aligned,
Among your prayer.
The darkness in the deep desires,
Of joy in the rest of us.

This time we surrender.
There'll be nothing when I'm done with you.
The twisted detail of whatever must,
And all it takes is truth.
