Wanting to buy a new desktop PC..
Hey guys, I am looking to buy a new PC for the Sims 3 and I think I may have found one. However, I really would like the advice of simmers.

It is a Lenovo C540 i5 W8 Desktop
Specs are:
Intel Core i5- 3330S 2.7GHz Processor
Windows 8
23" LED Display with 5 point touch
6GB RAM (which I will upgrade to 8GB)
1TB HDD
Nvidia Geforce 2GB Dedicated Graphics GT615M

In the case of the graphics card, I have looked at the Game Help:TS3 System Requirements on MTS and didn't find the GT615M.
I have all 11 expansion packs, about 3 stuff packs, all the store towns and quiet a bit of store content from limited editions.
I would really value your opinion on whether this would be a good Desktop to buy.
Please and thank you

The graphics card on that machine is too weak. You should look for a computer that has a GTX 650 or better. A GTX 650 Ti Boost or GTX 660 is good.

You should look for something that looks like:

i5
8GB of DDR3 RAM
GTX 650 or better.

615M is very weaks graphic card , I don't think it can even play just base game.
I recommend custom build for gaming PC.

For Sims 3 all expansions + stuff pack at least get the following.
AMD FX-6300
cheap 970 Mobo such as Gigabyte GA-970A-D3P
8GB RAM
AMD HD 7770
1TB HDD
Good 550W PSU such as XFX Pro Series 550W or Seasonic S12II 520W
Windows 7 or 8.1 (64bit only) up to your preference
LED 1920x1080

If you have more money get i5 and better graphic card (if you plan to play other game).
Cheap i5 such as i5-4440
Cheap H87 Mobo such as Asrock H87 Pro4
8GB RAM
Nvidia GTX660 or AMD HD 7870 or better
1TB HDD
Good 650W PSU such as XFX Pro Series 650W or Seasonic S12II 620W
Windows 7 or 8.1 (64bit only) up to your preference
LED 1920x1080

Thank you both for replying.
Firstly, for me to get a PC/ laptop with a GTX graphics card would be nearly impossible because in South Africa, we do not have the same PC's/laptops as you get in the states. If it were possible for me to find one with a GTX graphics card, it would be unaffordable, because that graphic card comes primarily in higher end machines.
I could make my own PC as you have suggested enterprise24, but it would be hard to get the components to do so. And there may be cheap alternatives, but I would like the machine to work at it's best.
There is a laptop that I have seen the ACER V5 572G i5.
The specs are
Intel Core i5-3317U
6GB RAM
1TB HARD DRIVE
Windows 8
15.6'' Screen
Nvidia Geforce GT720M 2GB

Is this any better?
My sister had the Lenovo Ideapad Z580 with Nvidia Geforce GT 630M 2GB and the sims, with CC worked perfectly on hers.

Thank you again

i5-3317U is dual cores with HT (in task manager you will see as quad cores). But Sims is old game and not utilize HT so I think you will see some lag when play many expansions especcially Seasons and Island Paradise.
GT720M is not much better than 615M try lowering setting when play Sims.

Basically this laptop can play Sims but It may have some performance issue.
