I'm not sure if this is the right place, so feel free to move. I have uploaded a couple of lots that I know had upgrades (handy skill) to the appliances and such and I was wondering if someone downloads one of these if the upgraded items would till be upgraded?

Mostly the upgrades don't even stick if your family moves house and takes an item with them. I had a sim upgrade a whole load of sprinklers and he took them with him when he moved. He had to upgrade them all again. It's a pain. Honestly, i wouldn't waste time doing these things in the hope of them sticking, they don't stick well in the game, never mind as a zip
