Default Why did they include that if the Sim is to stupid to use it?
Is there a mod or hack that make the Sims smart enough to use the hidden door bookcase that is in Apartment Life?

It's made to be not autonomous, so nothing to do with smarts. Yes, there is such a mod by Pescado on MATY, only I can't think what it is called, hopefully, someone else will.

I think it was made autonomous so that it was a secret door that not everybody could go through. But it's kind of pointless if even the people who should know about it won't use it. XD
