I just noticed that the stereos and speakers don't seem to be playing music.

The constant background music was driving me crazy so I turned it off for a while, only to find that nothing came out of the speaker in my Sims house. Even when she turned it on, nothing happened. She didn't seem to be able to switch channels.

Everything seems okay in the Audio settings; I can get the songs to play from the Audio Settings console. Just not in the game.

Any suggestions on how I can fix this?

I had that problem. The stereos do, in fact, play music, only the volume is very low. Try setting the volume of the stereo to 'high' and I'm sure you'll hear the music. ^^

Thanks! I fiddled with the controls more and yes, there's music. I wish it was louder, though.

It seems to fade out quickly as I scroll around and it never gets as high as the base game music seems to.

Maybe something to ask a modder for...
