Default Creator Challenges!
Another Challenge is done and dusted, and as always we've seen some fantastic entries; plenty enough to leave your sims gazing at the stars all night with rabid curiosity (which is probably safer than having them do anything else with free will on, after all).

We're happy to announce some truly very exceptional entries for the Sci Fi Challenge, namely:

* The Jetsons by Aligeth
* Once Upon a Blue Moon Set by bluetexasbonnie
* Steampunk robot set by sherahbim
* The Jetsons Neighbourhood by StephSim

And honourable mentions to:
The Endeavour by AudluvsVegas
Alien Abduction "Llama" Lamp by wndy26

Thank you to everyone who entered.

---

And the next creator challenge is: Victorian London!

Think Oliver Twist, A Christmas Carol, Jack the Ripper, and the age of factories. This was also a time when machines caught people’s imaginations – with ideas of submarines and time machines, and ‘steampunk’. The housing of the time in London was primarily brick, not the ‘painted ladies’ from America – but still had ornate details… well except for the slums. Lot builders might want to look here, and also make good use of google.

Be creative, surprise us as you always do. Research, and including a link or photo is a definite plus in this challenge. Google is your friend!

Thanks to madsaffs for this very helpful link to the Victorian lifestyle.

The upload area will open shortly. And get your entries in by April 22nd.

Trophies have been sent out; if you haven't got yours, now's the time to say so.

The Sci-Fi entries to the previous challenge really soared! Congratulations to everyone who took part, there was an abundance of truly wonderful work - it was an honour to have taken a small part in this. I'm sure the Victorian London challenge will be equally inspired and inspiring.

Another Challenge has ended and a new one begins!

I think the last Challenge took a lot out of me! It just dawned on me the magnitude of coloring over 30 texture maps, creating a wall set of more than 20 walls, and creating 7 unique floating lots in a months time! Wow! Methinks I was on speed! :o Unlike previous challenges, my Sim time was devouted to this project until I completed it. I think I still feel the overall exhaustion of getting it done by the deadline.

It seems no sci-fi entry received the coveted "Featured" lot trophy. Such is life! Nonetheless, I am honored my collection was recognized in such a wonderful way and was even "Picked".

I am not sure I'm up for the next challenge though. While I am working on something, it may not be finished in time for the challenge, so I will probably post it separately or later than April 22nd. No big deal.

The link provided for the Victorian Challenge is awesome. I used it as a kickboard to find a building or 2 of interest and then did further research independently. Victorian London has so much to offer!

Again, Thanks for the recognition! I'm off to work on my Gwyrich Project and play around with my concept for Victorian London! :D

Nani, You're so funny! No tears for the cup. The tears were for the thought of the work (which is why I'm taking it easy with the Victorian Challenge) - although I'm off to a good start with it. The Golden Cup is a bonus!

There should be a Golden Cup dance!
:cylon: + = Golden Cup Dance OR 1 Really wasted cylon!

BTW Nani- You should SEE what I've created in large thanks to your creations! It's fabulous, but you must wait for the unveiling! I told you I'm going to have a Nanisim Victorian display!

Hello, I'm new to this whole create custom stuff, but I would like to take a swing at this. However, I'm not sure where to start or what to use. Would it be against the rules or something if someone who is more experienced will just point me in the right direction? The work would be all me but I will give credit where credit is due. ^_^ Everyones work is amazing, and being a beginner I'm sure I won't come close, but I would like to try any ways. =D One more question. So what can we make? Sims, buildings, so on? Hehe thank you in advance

Great! My congratulations to the winners and to the whole crew of participants .... also on behalf of my ego hehe. :D
This competition was very hard for me so I'll take a break during the Victorian challenge, which is not my fav theme at all ... yes, I know that this will make the competition more challenging and interesting, I've some idea, but I'm really exhausted and my right arm is not yet at 100% so I don't know if I'll be able to go with an entry.

However, the winners are winners, and I thank them for their precious work. I've seen so many amazing entries here! creatures, places, decorations and whole planets, unique and original.
