This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Pets, Apartment Life
Default Deleted objects keep appearing
Hello,

I recently organized my objects, clothes,.. in sims 2. I go to the game and then delete items. But when I restart the game, objects that I deleted appear again! What should I do? It took me a few hours to delete everything I want! I am also using Sims2 pack clean installer, but I thing deleting objects in game is easier.

Also, my game sometimes doesnt start, so i delete cache and start the game. Does this have something to do with object reappearing?

PLEASE HELP!

Make sure there aren't duplicate files. Also, are you deleting the objects from ingame? It's usually safer to write down the names and then go looking in your Downloads folder.

If you mess around with your downloads, the cache files can cause the game not to start. It's a common issue, and deleting the cache files usually does the trick. The cache files can sometimes save a "shadow" of a file, but they are more likely to cause issues with changed meshes or recolors, than removed items.

Thank you for your help! I think I have duplicate objects :o

Can you help me with one more thing? I am playing sims 2 for many years now, but its the first time my game is not working properly. The land around house turns into a pattern from one of the objects i own. Sometimes rugs, sometimes wallpapers, sometimes is just black. Do you know whats wrong?

Try updating your graphic drivers.

Perhaps you need the graphic rules. http://www.leefish.nl/mybb/showthread.php?tid=5446

You either have duplicate files or you are running into the windows protection problem.

Windows 10 has it built in and an update put it in Windows 7 and 8.
Anything in the programs folder and My Doc folder for the user will be protected and any thing deleted from either will be put back as it was.
You may need to set your My Doc folder for the user account that you use to both read and write for the ingame to be able to delete CC, just be careful not to delete EA game items or you can break you install of the game.
