Default The Mc Fee's Family Curse Part Seven

It’s been two years now and Dylan is still missing Melody. He has lost his drive and Margaret is very worried about him, he just walks around all day like he is in a daze, he is moody and depressed and has lost his lust for life.

He is a junior officer in the Sims army, Owens Island division; Margaret thinks he could have been a senior officer already if he wasn’t so depressed.

Then someone walked down his street that will change all of that, Anita Ryan. She has lived here a few months now, she moved from Pleasantview. She is 24, slightly older than Dylan but she is beautiful and sweet. Dylan was instantly in love with her, yet he was worried that she may not feel the same way and he was right….

You see Anita was attracted to Dylan but not in the way you think, she was attracted to Dylan’s money,

“The Mc Fee family is worth twice as much as Mortimer Goth was; also Dylan is more handsome and younger.” Anita thought as Dylan talked to her in his front yard, it was no coincidence that Anita walked by as she did she had been gathering a lot of information about the Mc Fee’s for months since she left PleasantView after fleecing old Mortimer of a lot of money. Anita smiled at the thought of it.

Anita isn’t a patient woman and makes her moves quick; soon enough Dylan is intoxicated with her, which is right where she wants him. As she bids him goodnight she thinks to herself, he’s going to be easy.
However Dylan does not want to rush into anything so he decides to take his time, he has been burned before with Melody and doesn’t want it to happen again.

Margaret sensed a new life in her son he was happier compared to 6 months ago; he worked harder at work and even got a few promotions. She knew it had to be someone, then Dylan told Margaret about Anita,

“She is wonderful mum, she is funny and beautiful and I think she really likes me. We’ve been seeing one another for about 6 months now and I think I’m going to ask her to move in with me, would you be ok with that?” Dylan asked

“Well I would like to meet her first if that’s ok”? Margaret requested.

So Dylan arranged Anita to come over for dinner.

Part eight comming very soon.

Default The Mc Fee's Family Curse Part Eight

The dinner went well, or that was what Dylan thought, Margaret and Anita looked like they were getting along, they were talking and laughing.

Dylan didn’t pay too much attention to the expression on Margaret’s face when she reacted to a few things that Anita said.
“So tell me about yourself, Anita.” Margaret said with genuine interest,

“Well, I was raised by my mother, I never knew my father because he ran off with someone 20 years younger than him, leaving my mother alone to raise me. She had very little money and had to work very hard all her life which is why I will never allow that to happen to me”. Anita replied with a lot of passion with a hint of bitterness.

Margaret felt sorry for her yet was a bit worried about her last comment. She stared deep into Anita’s face and got a very cold shiver; from that moment Margaret got a bad vibe from her and didn’t like her at all.

Margaret then stared at Dylan and saw his deep affection for Anita and she saw happiness, she didn’t want to see her son get hurt but she also couldn’t stand in their way, if she did then Dylan would hate her and she could never let that happen, so all Margaret could do is watch and hope for the best and be there for her son.

After dinner Anita excused herself and went to find the bathroom. She walked into gym and looked into the mirror and straightened her hair and dress.

“That old crone is going to ruin everything, I know she’s onto me, but I don’t care if she does try to get between me and Dylan because if she does I will make her son hate her. Hopefully that will kill the old bat then Dylan, and more importantly his money, will be mine!” Anita thought to herself bringing a smile to her face.

“I’m just too hot for my own good”, Anita whispered running her hands up and down her body.

While Anita was out of the room, Dylan took the time to find out what Margaret thought of Anita,

“Hey mum what do you think of her?” Dylan asked with such hope in his eye’s Margaret didn’t have the heart to tell him the truth,
“She is lovely, if you want her to move in with you, you can, sweetie”. Margaret hated lying to her son but she felt that she didn’t have a choice.

“ANITA”, Dylan called from the main room, “where are you honey”?

Anita hurried down from the gym to Dylan’s side; she even gave him a kiss on the cheek.

Margaret said goodbye to Anita and goodnight to Dylan, and went upstairs to bed.

Dylan held Anita’s hand and stared into her big blue eyes,

“Anita would you like to come and live here with me”? Dylan asked with a little tremble of nerves in his voice.

“Anita got all excited it worked and then she thought of Margaret and this was not a pleasant thought,

“Yes, Dylan honey I will, I Love you”. She said trying not to show the satisfaction in her eyes.

Later that evening they got into the hot tub and Anita did what she specialises in….

Dylan was so happy that Anita was his first. It was truly a night that was very special in Dylan’s heart; he is deeply in love with Anita.

Default The Mc Fee's Family Curse Part Nine

A few weeks later Dylan made the decision that he wants to marry Anita, This was exactly what Anita wanted, she said yes and leapt into Dylan’s arms so happy but not for the reason Dylan thought. She was so close to getting his money she could taste it, they just have to get married then it’s all hers.

Then Dylan asked her for something that she never would have thought,

“Anita honey I want to make a family with you, what do you think”? Dylan asked looking deep into his beloved’s eye’s and completely ignoring the shocked and disgusted look on her face.

Anita thought about it for what seemed like forever to Dylan,
“If I have a kid with him he will marry me and then I can get my hands on his money, but if I have a kid it’ll ruin my gorgeous figure, what to do what to do…” Anita looked at Dylan and thought she better answer him quick so she said yes, she will adjust her plan where necessary. All she wants is that money, it’s a lot of money so Anita would go to any length necessary.

That night they consummated their engagement and plans to have children, much to Anita’s repugnance.

Not even engaged for a week and she is already spending Dylan’s money on clothing, shoes, handbags, jewelry anything she wants. This heightened Margaret’s suspicion and where she decided to do a little bit of a background check on Anita Ryan.

One morning Margaret got up early and went into the study and began her background search on Anita, this took some time, however, she finally hit pay dirt on the PleasantView Profit. The newspaper wrote an article about their local millionaire getting married to a woman who was as mysterious as she was beautiful, their wedding picture had Anita standing near a kindly looking old man who was Mortimer Goth. She continued looking until she found another article saying that after a year of wedded bliss the happy Goth couple was no more when Mortimer awoke one morning and found his blushing bride gone, but not just gone she took seventy-five thousand simoleons with her, Mortimer Goth was heartbroken.

Just then Margaret heard a noise behind her… she turned to see Anita standing at the door not looking like her usual happy sweet smiling self.

“What do you think you are doing Margaret” Anita demanded, her sugary tones replaced with bitter anger,

“Nothing that concerns you Anita” Margaret said trying to sound casual; Margaret closed down the web page and got to her feet.

“Well it looked like you were looking into my past, that is not wise Margaret, you see Dylan is totally in love with me and if you try to get between us I will not only destroy the close relationship you have with your gullible son but I will make sure you never see your grandchild…” Anita said with such venom.

“You’re pregnant…” Margaret replied stunned and frightened.

“Yes I found out yesterday I am planning on telling Dylan tonight he will be so thrilled, so don’t do anything to ruin it for him” Anita said with mock concern.

She looked at Margaret, smiled and walked out of the room leaving Margaret in shock. She began to cry not knowing what to do. She is so concerned for Dylan and for the unborn child growing in that beasts stomach.

Default The Mc Fee's Family Curse Part Ten

When Dylan got home from work he was already in a great mood, Anita meet him at the door, he swept her into his arms,

“I just got that promotion I have wanted, baby isn’t that great”? Dylan said with excitement.

“I have something better to tell you, I’m pregnant” Anita confesses to a totally shocked and thrilled Dylan, Margaret walked past just to hear what Anita said she couldn’t hold her anger in she looked at them hug and Dylan smiling from ear to ear, Margaret just turned around and walked away into the garden.

A few Weeks later and a lot of Debate between Anita and Dylan about what kind of wedding to have Anita wanted a huge wedding however Dylan only wanted a very small wedding, this went on and on until Anita gave in with much loathing, however she would never show this to Dylan. The ceremony was lonely Margaret was not too thrilled about it but didn’t show this out of fear of what Anita would do.

That night after a quite dinner Dylan snuggled with Anita thinking all the while about his future family, he couldn’t wait, whereas Anita couldn’t help but think about what she is going to do with all that money when she gets this kid out of her.

When Anita finally fell asleep Dylan got up and went down stairs to talk to his mum.

“Mum you don’t seem to be excited about becoming a Grandmother, why”? Dylan asked with concerned

“No that’s not it sweetie I’m just tired it’s been a very busy few months and I am very excited to have a grandchild”. Margaret said partly telling the truth, she is looking forward to becoming a grandmother, but she is just so worried about that witch Anita.

A few months later Anita started showing her pregnancy and it was at this time that she started to get extra moody with Dylan, because he would rub her belly all the time and talking stupidly to her belly,

“You hardly pay any attention on me; it’s all the baby is this what it’s going to be like when it’s born? I thought you loved me” Anita put on the water works and Dylan wrapped his arms around her and pleaded his love for Anita and she smiled, she still got it.

Anita was moody also because she couldn’t go shopping in this condition she hardly got off the couch; Margaret had to do everything, which was fine with Margaret because at least when Anita was home she could keep an eye on her.

The time has come for Anita to give birth, Anita was about to go to lounge on the couch, she felt a sharp pain in her abdomen. She screamed and grabbed her stomach Margaret ran down the stares and saw her water brake,

“GET THIS THING OUT OF ME!!!” Anita screamed.

Margaret ran to the phone and called for the ambulance, when they finally arrived she had gone to far into labor to be moved so they delivered her baby there in the main hall, Margaret was so pleased the baby was out of Anita and health.

Is it a boy or girl and will it be like its mother…..Keep reading to find out.

Part eleven coming soon.

Default The Mc Fee's Family Curse Part Eleven

“Here is your grandson Andrew, but remember if you blab to Dylan I will leave and take Andrew with me and you will never see him again.” Anita warned as she presented Margaret with her beautiful Grandson.

Once Anita didn’t have the baby she sat on the couch for the rest of the day watching the shopping channel, she didn’t once show any interest in Andrew or Margaret, however, when Dylan came home….

Anita pick Andrew up immediately and started playing with him and hugging him and doing all the things a good mother should do, just so Dylan would see what she wanted him too.

Anita even gave Dylan a hold while she went to make baby Andrew his dinner. This shocked Margaret, all day she did nothing didn’t even acknowledge his existents, Margaret had to do everything all day today yet she can lie like this and get away with it.

This went on and Dylan was none the wiser. Margaret practically raised Andrew from the day he was born, well at least when Dylan wasn’t home anyway.

Anita became restless, Margaret could tell with the way she was acting. Dylan couldn’t see it; he was so blindly in love with her. Margaret knew it was only a matter of time before Anita moved on and this worried her because she hoped Anita wouldn’t take Andrew with her.

Then two day’s before Andrews first Birthday, while Dylan was at work, Anita packed all the valuable items that she and Dylan had bought into a backpack and a suitcase with one hundred-thousand simolions and left the house, waked to a taxi and then left without looking back once or even saying goodbye to Andrew or even leaving a note to say she was off to catch a plane to Sim City then a connection flight to the tropics. She is very pleased with herself, as Anita was getting into the taxi.

Margaret watched from the window. She held Andrew tightly to her, glad that she’s gone and happy that she didn’t take Andrew with her.

Margaret was not looking forward to Dylan finding out, he is going to be devastated, and Margaret is hopping he doesn’t blame her.

Part 12 comming soon.

Default The Mc Fee's Family Curse Part Twelve

When Dylan got home he was in such a good mood,

“HONEY, MUM, ANDREW I got promoted” Dylan yelled looking around to see who was around. He didn’t see anyone so he ran up the stairs two steps at a time. When he reached the landing he saw Margaret coming out of the nursery. Their eyes meet and Margaret looked away quickly, almost like she was afraid to face him. Dylan, confused, walked slowly towards Margaret,

“What’s wrong, it’s not Andrew is it, is he ok”? Dylan asked with deep concern in his voice and on his face.

“No he’s fine, it’s Anita. She left with her bags packed and I suspect a suitcase full of our money. I’m sorry honey but she caught me looking her up on the internet and what I found was not good. She married an old man in Pleasantveiw and after a year stole seventy-five thousand simoleons, she confronted me months ago, and threatened if I told you she would make you hate me and would take Andrew away and we would never see him. I couldn’t let that happen so I stayed quiet, I’m sorry sweetie please believe me.” Margaret pleaded, however Dylan just blew up, he couldn’t believe it, he just couldn’t wrap his mind around it.

“Your lying, she left because you must have said something to upset her, she loved me and Andrew. Anita would never leave us, this must be your entire fault, how could you I thought you loved me and my son” Dylan was almost screaming. Margaret could see the tears in his eye’s and the hurt on his face, this broke Margaret’s heart.

“Stay away from me” Dylan demanded and turned on his heels and walked into the nursery and closed the door.

Later that night Dylan got a phone call from the police, the plane that Anita was on hit bad turbulence and she was thrown around the bathroom that she was in and hit her head vary hard on the sink and the blow killed her. What the police failed to mention was that she was not alone in that bathroom. He met a very wealthy man from Sim City and was doing what she specialises in with him in the bathroom of the plane when it hit the turbulence. The guy was fine he just had a few cuts and bruises.

“We will be bringing her belongings back to you tomorrow with her body”. This news almost killed Dylan, he dropped the phone and crumpled into a heap on the floor crying. Margaret heard the crash of the phone and ran to her son’s side but he snubbed her and got up, ran up stairs and slammed his bedroom door. The sudden bang woke Andrew up and he started crying. Margaret went to her grandson and looked after him all the while hearing her son crying and sobbing in his room broken hearted and confused.

Months have past and Andrew is a gorgeous little toddler, Dylan hasn’t gotten over losing Anita but has become very angry and bitter towards his memories of her because when her remains and belongings were returned he opened the suitcase to find a lot of their money in it, one hundred thousand simoleons to be exact and all that Margaret said about her came back to him in a wave of guilt and anger, why didn’t his mum tell him, and why did Anita do this to him.

Margaret was outside in the backyard looking at her garden and thinking about Dylan and Trey and Andrew when Dylan came out and stood next to her,

“Mum I am so sorry for the way I treated you, I had no right to take my pain and anger out on you, please forgive me.” Dylan pleaded.

Margaret turned to Dylan and smiled with a tear running down her cheek,

“Of course I do sweetie, you’re my son and you were hurting I love you.”

They hugged each other tightly; Dylan pulled away and looked at his mother,

“Mum do you think the curse got Anita?” Dylan asked with pain and anger on his face at the mention of Anita’s name,

“It’s possible, before your father died I always thought the family curse was just a legend but when Trey died I began to believe it might be real. Anita may not have loved you but you had a deep love for her and she brought such happiness into your life. That is what the curse does. It gives you a brief time of happiness and love and then rip’s it away from you” Margaret explained. The pain on Dylan’s face remained stamped on his face, Margaret put her hand on his shoulder and led him inside where they sat down with a hot cup of coffee and talked about everything from Andrew’s future to family history.

Default The Mc Fee's Family Curse Part Thirteen

After that night Dylan decided to take some leave from work to focus on Andrew and his new fascination in the family legend, the curse.

After but a few weeks he had already taught Andrew to walk and talk, however, the potty training as usual was left in Margaret’s capable hands which didn’t bother her she just found it funny.

When he wasn’t looking after Andrew he was searching the web for any information on the Mc Fee family tree, the curse or the family before they came to Owens Island. This concerned Margaret but at least he wasn’t moping around the house anymore.

He searched for weeks until he found some references to another family that was in business with the Mc Fees back in 1600. He ran with these references and discovered everything he ever wanted to know about his family.

The Mc Fee’s lived in Blue Water Village a small yet wealthy community; they lived there for generations and were very affluent. The Mc Fee’s were in business with the Craven family, who, like the Mc Fee’s flourished. Theodore Mc Fee and Larson Craven were close friends; their toy shop was the largest in Blue water their wives were friends and their children even played together. Clare Craven and Jonathon Mc Fee grew up together and were very close and when they reached their teenage years their friendship grew deeper into love. When they become young adults they asked their parents if they could marry. Theodore was pleased with this and approved but Larson didn’t. He planned for his daughter to marry into the Monty family in Veronaville, they are wealthy and interested in investing a large amount of money into the business and so this proposal from Jonathon Mc Fee put Larson’s plan in jeopardy. He didn’t hide his dissatisfaction for the engagement.

Clare was so hurt by her father that she left the Craven family and married Jonathon anyway. This broke the close friendship that bound the Mc Fee’s and the Craven family so business from there was difficult but when Clare fell pregnant and died in childbirth this devastated both family’s and the business was split in two and the family’s never spoke. But when Larson’s business failed he went to the Mc Fee house and in front of the whole Mc Fee family cursed them for their still prospering business. This curse fell on the child that their daughter died giving birth to. He spread rumors about the Mc Fee family being into the black arts and that’s how they are so successful, this caused such friction in Blue Water Village that they moved to Owens Island to get away from the persecution only to find more persecution and victimisation.

This information that Dylan found blew his mind, this is why the Mc Fee’s are so unlucky in love because the Craven family cursed them, but how do we break this curse? Why should our children never really know the love of both their parents?
From that moment Dylan had a new purpose, it was to find a way to break this curse so when little Andrew finds love he can keep it well into his elder years.
