This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default My Ceilings Are Gone (SOLVED)
My game (UC) started telling me that it wasn't installed, so I fixed it in Origin and it also updated. I've restored my fixed graphics rules and everything (I've done this before), but now, suddenly, my ceilings aren't showing up. I can't even seem to add the tiles (and in any case, these houses already HAD them). Not sure what's going on...my game has no other issues.

Edited to add: Okay, so the tiles are there, but I can't see them. I selected a ceiling from the catalog and hovered the mouse on the ceiling (no tile or even the grid showed up) but when I held shift and clicked, the price was deducted. So...the ceiling I can no longer see was painted? I don't know).

Edited again: So...apparently the origin fix also toggled show ceilings to off. I forgot the existence of the toggle... panic ensued. The toggle has now been toggled to 'on' and everything is back to normal. I have been playing this game since the day it came out...you'd really think I'd remember these things.

Leaving this here in case anyone else has this issue and also happens to forget that toggle exists.

They should use The Sims 2 in psychology....it could work wonders.

The game randomly makes ceilings disappear, it's not Origin. It will happen again, just toggle it back on.

I have never had that happen before. Nice to know it can.

My game started doing that every time I load it up. Annoying.

I no longer come over to MTS very often but if you would like to ask me a question then you can find me on tumblr or my own site tflc. TFLC has an archive of all my CC downloads.
I'm here on tumblr and my site, tflc
