You can try GIMP.I did not find it to be very hard.Its a bit like blender...where once you get used to the interface,you can do most of the stuff.
But I will advise to first reassemble the package and then check and just changing the colour of the original cookie texture to test stuff(just a simple hue change).Then we can proceed from there.

Sure. I'll probably be a couple of days before I get the free time. However, it's worth mentioning that the original cookie texture repeats seamlessly, so just changing its color won't prove anything. The cookie texture could be repeating, and it wouldn't cause a problem. My problem is that I'm trying to put use an image that won't repeat seamlessly.

Hey...Thought I would look into this again.Can you reaasemble the package and upload it.I want to start from the beginning and see where the textures are going wrong!
