Default WCIF Semi-Realistic Skins For TS2?

(Skin in image by MsBlue)

I would like to find a skin for TS2 like the skin above I linked. Any skins like it for TS2?

I think Whysim makes lovely skins and other Bodyshop stuff in general. I'd switch the skins I'm using for theirs, if it wasn't such a giant pain in the butt to switch out skins and then fix all the broken genetics. Anyway, here's their CC tag on their Tumblr, which has all their stuff they've posted to Tumblr: https://whysim.tumblr.com/tagged/s2cc/ They also post stuff at GOS; I think their username there is wert700, IIRC.

I'm mostly found on (and mostly upload to) Tumblr these days because, alas, there are only 24 hours in a day.

If I'm only doing one or a few, I'll extract the textures from the skin I want and import them into the file I'm using. That's a fiddle too but I find it easier than squinting at the codes. I'd obviously match the skintones genetic settings.

I no longer come over to MTS very often but if you would like to ask me a question then you can find me on tumblr or my own site tflc. TFLC has an archive of all my CC downloads.

Yeah, that would be an easier way to go about it...but I've got about 50 skins in my game, all arranged on an internally-consistent genetic scale built around the default skins I use, and replacing that would be quite the undertaking. So, I'm kind of stuck until I decide to give up all my neighborhoods and can start fresh...which will probably never happen. I like the skins I have well enough, though. I just think Wert's/Whysim's are really nice-looking, with just the amount of shine I like, so if I were to start fresh, theirs would be the ones I'd use to rebuild a skin collection.

Oh I know - I have a pile of skintones too - some of the files are ancient. I geneticised the lot.

If you don't want to switch and fiddle in SimPE (For us SimsPE-challenged), there are some lovely semi-reals out there. Many are semi-Barbie (females have their top bits, but there's nuthin' much on the bottom), so I'm not really sure what to post and what not to post. I might be crossing a line here. I'll focus on this site, which is a shame, since there are some really good semi-real skins off this site as well.

Ephemera is my first choice. Yup, the skins are old, but they really hold up. So many of my Sims use this skintone in my game. Most are semi-Barbie ... at least the ones I use.

There was another skin tone on here that held up so well over the years and I still use, but it seems the creator has either moved the creations elsewhere or flounced. Not sure which. If the latter, that is really a pity.

I know many people like these skin tones. I know the Idolatry of Flesh ones are Barbies. I think the oepu ones are as well, but am not sure:

I use the Pyxis Venice skintones as defaults. Darker skins that don't get splotchy can be really hard to find, and I like the richness of these tones. I have a few AlfredAskew skins (and that reminds me ... I forgot Trapping skins ... might want to check those out as well) and NathanialRoyale skins (might take a little hunting in the archive). These are NOT Barbie, so I don't think I can link these. I am not a fan of Barbie skins.

As I think you can see, I'm a huge semi-real fan. I like a little shine and definition, but I don't want my Sims to look like they've been rolling in olive oil, and I don't need to see every pore. And just an obvious FYI, take a look at these first before in a junk hood because some of these skintones could be geneticized.

EDIT ... And how, how, how can I forget Pooklet? Some of that stuff is on GOS, and there is a collection of Pooklet files out there.

Oh, and I don't use sexy feet, so if you want those, I can't help all that much. Sorry.

Thanks to ALL free-site creators, admins and mods.

RIP Sunni ... truly a ray of light.

I've been using Sleepytabby's "Imperfections" skins for a couple of years now. Sleepytabby calls them "Maxis Match," but to me that's an entirely different look. There are several nice dark tones in this set too.

I managed to find some of my screenshots that give an idea of what they can look like in-game (I don't normally take a lot of facial close-ups). Do be aware that the default S1 is noticeably paler and the default S3 noticeably darker than the Maxis versions. Some people who play pre-mades are bothered by this. I sometimes use Christianlov's skintone changer if I think the skin should be a different shade ("Peachy" to replace S1 and "Swarthy" to occasionally replace S3).

Also be aware that these are very large files. Those using low-end computers may want to avoid them for that reason.

Please note that the attention to detail and desire to have each age group look unique bloated the size of the files. While most creators keep their skin file size reasonable by having age groups share textures, these skins were not created so. They are roughly 8-12 MB each, so know that you have been warned in case your game loads slower or your hard drive cries if you download these.

I shall resume this debate.
It would be nice to have skins like the first image, so as to have a woman with a big breast as well as on the game you see intimate part.
Can anyone create them?
Or convert?
I'm looking for skins like that, but it's hard to find them.

@letiziaa skins won't help you with that. Look for custom bodyshapes.

There are also beautiful skins like these, but they are very difficult to find and give a good look to the character

Hi @letiziaa, if you like stuff like that, try this website. I think you'll like it. Those outfits are by Mila. You could ask her where she got them from, but I am not sure if she speaks English well. I could translate for you if needed, just send me a PM Also skins like that are older because that was the cc 'fashion' back then, nowadays people create more subtle skintones.

@Aileena
Thank you. That's very kind of you.
Yes, I know I'm from Mila, in fact I wrote to her, she gave me two sites, but I can't find them.

The sites are these (the second to me come out things only for the sims 4)
