Does anyone know if it's possible to import a "finished" version of either Riverview or Sunset Valley into CAW, and then modify the world, for example changing lot location, street names, the city biography? I understand the versions of the cities included with CAW are "lite" versions, however, it seems it should at least be doable.

Well, you can't import a world that has sims in it.

However, I agree that it should be doable, with some modification to the world files It should also be possible to modify China, France, and Egypt so they function as base hoods, and conversely, for us to make new vacation hoods.

It's a matter of somebody taking the time to analyze the file formats to find out where the data is that currently prevents us from doing this. Too bad that the one person who knew the most about the internal data structures in the world files, TigerM, is currently not around (last seen flying off in the direction of Aion, damn MMOs! ) Still, maybe somebody else will work it out.
