Default So what happens if the same region is black in every channell?
Will it result in black? Or will it just crash? Basically I'm wondering if I can get a "free black" that will always be present in a pattern no matter what you change the other channels too.

Also, while I'm pretty sure the answer is "yes" I can use 50% gray in, the blue channel, while having white in the green channel directly underneath to create an even 50-50 blend in that area of whatever two colors end up being in the blue and green channels, correct?

Black in every channel results in showing the background colour fill.

You can use this background colour fill to get that free colour.

Yes, you can use greyscale to blend the layers together.

Story books are full of fairy tales, of Kings and Queens, and the bluest skies.
