What is the one thing you are obsessed with downloading?
I have been playing the sims for a long time! I noticed a year or two ago that i was mainly searching and downloading one thing, other peoples sims!! I have 2,482 sims saved on my computer! I have them all nice and neat in their own little folders! What are you obsessed with downloading?

Have you ever walked into a room & forgot why you went in there?
What if God is playing The Sims & he just cancelled your action.

Pretty much everything... But tons of CAS, toddlers items, baby items, garden, mods, work benches/Sun&Moon items, deco. I think furniture would be my smallest area, preferring recolours of Maxis items.

Except sims, I download very few of those.

Anything with recolors and pretty Maxis Match hairs . Lots and lots of wallpapers/flooring (love me some hardwood floors). And other sim game conversions as well, like more furniture.

Mods. Anything that gives me new gameplay or opens up storytelling possibilities.

Objects mostly, followed by build items. I need variety and Maxis range is so limited in windows and doors.
I rarely download Sims.

I was about to say "Nothing specifically, I download everything in moderation" and then I realised that I have 1000+ hacks in my hacks folder alone and 7500+ files total in my Downloads folder. Clearly I'm downloading *something* and its NOT in moderation.

Baby related items, poseboxes, and hospital related items (as long as they're not horror themed or too grunge-colored to be cleaned up, because I don't use those) are on my top 3 list, but I've got way more downloads than a person could need. I even download TS3 items (my TS3 game is broken) and TS4 items (I hardly play TS4, mostly CC-free), because "hey - that item could look good in my TS2 game"...

Some would say I'm obsessed with infant outfits (and that would be true) because from a rough estimate I have somewhere between 4000 and 5000 different designs (most likely a lot more, I've lost count and they're in several different folders), but since I've made most of them I don't think it counts as downloads... I do have most of the available infant outfits by other people, though.

My main downloads folder used to be around 35 GB, but I've recently gone through it and removed a lot of useless files and items I've never used, so currently it's down to around 22-23 GB (a lot of it was pictures, zips, etc.). But I haven't put in all the items made or downloaded recently, so I'm pretty sure it's going to be back to the starting point in no time.

Mostly hair and wall coverings. Still, it's ridiculous cos I have over 12GB and I don't even use most of it?? And that's just the stuff in my downloads folder. I still have a bunch more saved onto 3 different dropbox accounts, and I'm fairly certain I have a bunch more on an old external drive somewhere. Don't even get me started on the stupid amount of bookmarks on my browser. Its not ok.

It goes in waves. A few years ago it was cars. Last year it was hairstyles. I seem to be into TS3 and TS4 furniture conversions at the moment.

Few words... mods, mods... mods aaaand...

You guessed it. Mods!

And few additional items, like animated cloud domes and neighborhood decorations, few hairs and... not much really. I guess 90% of my 1GB CC folder are just mods. I don't download CAS CC that often.

Hacks/mods mostly. There was a time when I couldn't stop downloading walls and floors. That's stopped, for the most part. (after about 800 walls and 1200 floors). I'm also into downloading suitable houses-but they must fit a certain criteria. Also entire playable hoods, and SC4 maps.
Plus anything with cloud domes, and skylines.

Yes, my downloads folder is pretty big. My game loves me, I'm sure..

Oh yes, decorated hoods since I can't decorate hoods if my life depended on it. Please people, make more decorated hoods with or without lots!

- Mods that add a lot of different possibilities for new things to try out like PCsims objects, everything made by Sun&Moon etc. other objects that add to the gameplay.
- TS4 conversions, the art style looks just so good with TS2 aesthetic, especially clutter and deco!
- HOOD DECO.

Pretty wallpaper - I don't know why I can't resist them, I could build 1000 hoods with a different wallpaper on every wall right now.Of course, the moment I take a set out of my downloads, I immediately need that wall.

I have a huge problem with hoarding hairs. I'm like that with every game that has mods; not just the sims. I will never understand my obsession with hair for game characters, but it's bad. My sims 2 catalog took forever to switch from page to page when I used Pooklet's colors, but now I mostly stick to Remified/Simagrooped hairs, which cut down on the colors. Of course, that doesn't solve my problem of downloading ALL the hair. Even the high-poly sims 4 conversions that make the game flash pink at me because it's tired and can't hold any more stuff. Every sim has to have a unique hair (sometimes multiple, they need one for bedtime if their daytime is too elaborate, formal, etc.) and then of course I store hairs for when I make more sims or they're born in the game.

In short: Hair hair hair, hair hair. Hair.

Anything retro! My game is loosely midcentury--anything from the 1930s to 1960s has a home with me, and I spend way too much time scouring MTS, let alone other sites, for anything that might fit in with my theme. Clothes, hair, floors, walls, objects--I want it all!

Nothing anymore.
I use to download every default skins out there until I found "You Are What You Eat -- 12 Delicious Skintones" at http://www.digitalperversion.net/ga...hp?topic=9469.0
I had at one time well over 60 sets of default skins, now I only have the one.

My 320 Mb of CC in enough for me.

Clothes! My boyfriend pointed out that I get the same self-satisfied feeling from downloading cute clothes that I do from shopping for myself, and I realized he is absolutely right. At least downloading sims' clothes is free!

Completer sets. I need all those add ons for Maxis windows and doors, armchairs to match my sofas, matching single and double beds, and tables in a variety of sizes.

I have a few (who surely mod die-hard fan would consider being underwhelming amount) and, surprisingly enough I barely use those. Maybe I have yet to get into interesting gameplay case where I would need to download&install any.

P.S. Sorry for my bad english.
