So The Sims 4 have now made it possible for us to catch’em all!!! And I'm not talking about Pokemon!! I'm talking about Void Critters and the new gameplay features they allow. This challenge has your child sims make money for the household using the new void critters.


Challenge description:
It's every sims child's dream to become a Void Master. To most kids collecting and training your very own critter is difficult enough but, for others, for the most dedicated, they won't stop until they have every. Single. Void Critter. In. The. World. It is what fuels them, and they can't be stopped. So why not get paid for doing what you love, even as early as childhood. That's where the Void Critter League comes in. Join the league and beat their goals and expectations in order to get paid for training and battling all your critters. This is more than a game. It's a rewarding lifestyle. Go, and become the master, like no one ever was.


Goals to win: Collect all 20 cards and raise them all to lv10 in 6 sim weeks. If you have more than 10 LE foil cards you get 7 sim weeks.

Write down your stats and score at the end of the 6-7 weeks: Battles won, battles lost, money won, money lost. Optional stats: # of times traded, # of cards found, # of times digging through trash, # of times looked in logs, # of times looked in old pipes
These stats get you achievements!!

You Reek/Rule!!!!
After climbing into trash cans over 25 times, you unlock this achievement!! You're a professional Grouch now!! Get an extra $100 at the end of a battle!!

Slick hands...yuk!!!
After reaching into frog logs 35 times, you unlock this achievement!! The frogs were laughing at you when you didn't find any cards in the logs but, who's laughing now huh?!?!? Get $50 for every card you find in the wild!!!

Wrinkly fingers....ewww.
After reaching into 25 water pipes, you unlock this achievement. Your fingers are all wrinkly and wet now like you spent too long in the bathtub. Oh well, those are just battle scars to show how dedicated you are to becoming a master!! Or well, technically, battle wrinkles....ewww. Get an extra $50 after winning battles against Void Critters that had a higher level or better element advantage than your Void Critter. This does not matter if you lose.

Restrictions:
1) No using the computer to buy cards. YOU MUST FIND CRITTERS BY LOOKING FOR DISCARDED TOYS IN THE GARBAGE AND FROG LOGS/WATER PIPES. You ARE ALLOWED to trade cards with other kids. Those are the only three ways you can acquire cards.

2) Don't let your kids grades get below a 'C'. Famous Void Masters are not 'D' and 'F' students!! If they get a 'D' Grade that last for more than 4 days, mom or dad will take all void critter cards and sell them away!!! You will have to start from scratch (but only start when your grades are a 'C' or above!) They will also sell your void critter battle stations so keep the grades up!!

3) I shouldn't have to say this but don't cheat grades (">.<)

4) Don't cheat needs.


Rules:
1) Create however many sims/children in a family you want. The sims/children can have any traits and aspirations.

2) Move your family into a home. The adults can do whatever. You can use any money cheats whenever you want but you also want to have your child(ren) sim(s) adding to the family funds right? I mean that's the whole point of this challenge.

3) Have your children sims start collecting cards and start training them.

4) You can not buy a battle station for your home lot until your void trainer has won enough money or collected enough element collections to afford a battle station ($675). This applies for every battle station you buy.


Making money:
1) Void trainers make money by battling, completing their collection, and completing their limited edition foil collection. Use the money cheat down below to add or subtract cash, to and from the family funds.

2) Completing an element collection(finding all 4 cards of the same element) will award a void trainer $500 (For a total of 5 collections which is $2,500).

3) Completing a LE foil element collection(finding all 4 LE foil cards of the same element) will award a void trainer $1,000 (for a total of 5 collections which is $5,000).

4) Making money by battling is simple. If your void trainer wins the battle, multiple the level of your void critter when the battle is over by 100 and that is how much money your VT wins. EX: a level 5 VC will win $500.

5) The rarity of your void critter DOES matter. A common VC has a money multiplier of ×1. So a level 5 common VC will win $500. A uncommon VC has a money multiplier of x1.5. so a level 5 uncommon VC will win $750.
A rare VC has a money multiplier of x2. So a lv5 rare VC will win $1,000. Limited editions also have money multipliers. A LE common VC has a money multiplier of x1.2.
A LE uncommon VC has a money multiplier of x1.7. A LE Rare VC has a money multiplier of x3!!! So go out and collect those Limited editions!!!!

6) But be careful!!!! You can also LOSE MONEY if you lose the battle!!! The amount of money you lose is based off the multipliers of your opponents void critter, so take note of their power level, rarity and if its a LE foil card.

7) If your family does not have enough money to give away in the event your void trainer loses, you must sell in your inventory the card that would have made you the most money in a battle. So if you have a lv1 rare VC and a lv6 uncommon LE VC, you would have to sell the lv6 card because it would have made you the most money at the time of the loss.


How to do money cheat:
Open cheat menu and type: sims.modify_funds 0000 OR sims.modify_funds -0000

The space where the zeros are is the amount you would type to add cash to your family funds. The second cheat is how to subtract an amount of money.

Ways to expand the challenge:
1) If you have the get to work expansion pack, go download zerbu's go to school mod. Plop down a elementary school from the gallery or make your own!! Edit the school and put down a void critter battle station. Get in one or two quick battles with your classmates!! Or trade cards in the school yard!! But make sure you meet your daily goals!! Remember your void trainer has to be a 'C' student or more! If you would like an incentive to get higher grades, add a grade bonus! 'B' students add $150 to whatever battle total was calculated AFTER multipliers. And 'A' students get $250!! (Remember you NEED the get to work pack in order for zerbu's mod to work in your game.)

2) If you have the get together expansion pack, create a void critters club and club hangout!! Go all out and make your hangout an awesome battle arena!! Keep a score of how many times the kids win or lose and set up a ranking system if you want!! Who is the top 3 void trainers? The top 5? Or play however you want!

Gameplay Tips!
1) Having your adult learn writing won’t hurt.
2) Leveling the social skill and being mischievous every so often won’t hurt…(well at least it won’t hurt YOU)
3) Get a pen and paper out to keep track of your money and stats!
4) Club perks are powerful!!!
5) Research the elements strengths and weaknesses.
6) The neighborhood with Bargain Bend is my favorite neighborhood ;^)
