Oh my gosh, I fixed it! Idk why, but I found an "override.package" file (an EA file) in one of my back-up folders from mansion and garden's override folder (idk how it got here and why I even took it out, it seems I must have taken it out a long time ago and I DON'T KNOW WHY lol). Putting the file back into the override folder in program files solved my problems, the fixes are now working and showing up correctly! Thank god :^D
