Update: I'll be going on vacation from July 8th - July 12th. I'll be bringing my laptop with me so I'll still be able to answer questions and add entries to the chart, but it may be a bit delayed.
If you need an immediate answer, just head into the site chat and if I'm in there, feel free to ask.
I apologize in advance for any inconveniences!

Hey I was wondering if it was too late to join the contest. It seems very cool.

ColourMePink - It's not too late! Everyone has until July 15th 12:00AM EST to submit their entries.
Thank you very much, PlayinSafe!
---------------------
Today is the final day to submit entries, and one more judge is needed. We have 2 contestants, and we need a total of 10 by the end of the day. Unfortunately, I can see this contest not continuing. I think, that on my part, I was not able to completely explain everything like I wanted to. It seemed way to confusing, and that might have been why we strayed far from getting the amount of contestants needed. If this contest does end, I will try my best to brainstorm a new type of contest in the future, but to the point where it'd be less confusing.
Thank you all who have submitted.

Round 1
Round 1Qnshr’s Portfolio
After years of taking photos for fun, I am finally taking my passion to the next level and opening my own business. This portfolio is a great way to not only showcase my work, but to chronicle my journey.
****************************************************
Beast and the Beast
My first response to my ad was from a sweet newlywed couple. I had to travel to a castle up in the mountains. When I got there I discovered that my subjects weren’t human.
They call themselves beasts saying that they’re under some kind of spell that has to with enchanted roses. But they’re really nice and their looks didn’t break my camera so no harm. Congrats Mr and Mrs Beast!
------------------------------------------------------------------
Monster Under the Bed
Eight year old Neville Saige hired me to help resolve a heated dispute between his parents and himself. He believed there was a monster under his bed that tried to kidnap him at night while his parents maintained that this was all in his head. With the approval of all involved, I setup my camera in Neville’s bedroom.
Everyone but Neville was shocked to see the angry face of the demonic creature glaring from under his bed. Kids everywhere have been vindicated. Needless to say, the Saige’s are in the process of moving.
------------------------------------------------------------------
Short Hot Stuff
Anna Tucker hired me to take a portrait her and her boyfriend to commemorate their one year anniversary. It sounded so romantic.
What I didn’t know was that the 15 year old didn’t actually have a boyfriend, but an obsession with a boy. She had gotten some spell books and made a “love potion”. The boy arrived after his work shift under the guise of studying. When he took a drink of cola a strange thing happened.
He began to shrink! I took the picture despite the boy’s terror and Anna’s sobs. Hopefully, this will be a constant reminder to her not to mess with people’s wills or bodies.
------------------------------------------------------------------
Slayer vs Vampire
I was hired by a vampire slayer in training to get some shots of him in action for his initiation ceremony. After shadowing him several nights we had nothing, but then finally he tracked down a wanted rogue vampire.
I hid behind a dumpster in an alley as the slayer and vampire duked it out. The fight was intense. Both gave some nasty blows. In the end the vampire escaped by climbing up the wall of a building like a spider. The slayer was very satisfied with photos I got.
------------------------------------------------------------------
Modern Reaper
I got a call from the magazine “Modern Reaper”. They wanted me to do a shoot for them featuring Gordan Kreeper, an underworld renowned reaper. It was a bit disturbing working with death and all, but still fun. Kreeper knows how to keep it light.
And they chose one of my photos for their cover! In this one, Kreeper was about to take out an entire family due to inhaling poisonous Moonbeam Hydrangeas the grandmother planted. Apparently, she wanted to win the blue ribbon for best garden so badly she was willing to kill her competition for it. Unfortunately, the poisonous fragrance only seeps out during a full moon. The family was out in the garden during one trying to figure out what went wrong. I should feel sad for them, but I’m so excited that I’m on the map.
Oh yeah baby! Big time here I come!

Thank you to everyone who entered, but unfortunately this contest did not get enough entries to continue. I appreciate everyone's entries and love the work you all produced. Maybe this idea will have some sort of potential in the future.

Awww... too bad. Was looking forward to seeing how the money system progressed. Although I just realized that I got this and another contest mixed up and put a bunch of text on my last screenshot. Opps.
Oh well. I had fun doing these. Will be on the look out for your next contest SeeMyu.

I'm sorry to hear that this contest will not be continuing.
I thought it was a great idea, SeeMyu, and I do hope to see this idea again ("some sort of potential in the future").
Qnshr5- I was anticipating seeing the money system in play too.
Everyone who entered had some really great photos. I was really looking forward to seeing more. :lovestruc

Yes, I think to simplify the instructions. To me, it looked like WAY too much work and not much fun for a contest. And I was like Waa? on that buy and loan stuff.. How do I make money to pay the loanback uh - derp!
