This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default Can't add the default downtown
I tried to add the default downtown to one of my neighborhoods, but when I click on the button to do that, all that comes up is a menu where I can choose a terrain to build my own downtown on, I have no option to add the default downtown. Does anyone know what might be causing this?

Look in C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Nightlife\TSData\Res\NeighborhoodTemplate, or wherever you installed Nightlife. Do you have a D001 subfolder? Does the subfolder contain a file named D001_Neighborhood.package?

I had already looked there, and thought everything was okay, but I had put a clean template for Bluewater Village there instead of the cleaned template for Downtown. Problem solved.
