Default Changing Zodiac Sign In-Game
Hi everyone.
My sim, Ralph, just had a maxis made sim, Jane, move in with him. Is there any way I can change Jane's star sign (Aries, Taurus, etc) in-game?
Thanks in advance for any help...

Yes, if you go to neighbourhood view and type boolprop testingcheatsenabled true into the cheat console, when you re-enter the house you'll find that all of the motives and personality bars are dynamic- you can drag them up and down with the cursor. Switch the cheat off after (boolprop testingcheatsenabled false).

What do you mean by the word dynamic? And thanksfor the help. I thought TestingCheats screwed up the game though?

Testing cheats only screws up the game if you play with it continiously on, or if you mess with things you have no idea what does.

By dynamic, I just meant that they are not static- you can drag them with the cursor to alter the values.

You can just use the Insimenator to change signs and personality traits.

The Sim manipulator- this mod is still supported by the creator while insimenator is not. This gives you dozens of cheats without leaving your lot or messing with Boolprop cheats. http://simmanipulator.forumotion.co...sim-manipulator I use it all the time.

If you don't want to use cheats or mods then you can use this in-game item http://sims.wikia.com/wiki/ReNuYuSenso_Orb

I would rather use in-game items before cheats and mods.

The ReNu doesn't change their zodiac, you can only use a cheat/mod/simPE to do that.

You probably just mistyped the cheat. Try cutting and pasting:

boolprop testingcheatsenabled true

You must be in neighborhood view when you apply this cheat, and then enter the lot where you want to manipulate things. I believe the manipulator just gives you access to the testing cheats without going to neighborhood view. I've never used it, so I could be wrong.

HOWEVER, I don't believe even the testingcheats will allow you to change the zodiac sign without changing the personality points. You can try - it's amazing what you can do when you shift click or spawn the Tombstone of L&D - but I don't remember ever getting such an option, and I don't find it in the tutorial I downloaded. To the best of my knowledge, the only way to change the zodiac sign without changing the personality points is to change it in SimPE.

To do that, once you'd loaded the neighborhood, you would only need to locate the sim in the Sim Browser, go to the Personality tab, and use the drop down menu to change the name of the sign. Commit, Save, done.

Like everything, it's easy once you know how.

The "InSimenator mod" will allow you to change "Zodiac" sign regardless of personality. http://www.insimenator.org/index.ph...c,100226.0.html
I use the OBJ one my self "Buy the parts from the catalog (electronics > unsorted)" it will be the "Personality Adjuster" item you will need.
