Any problems running the Sims on that machine will be due to EA programming issues and funky mods and content. The machine will be fine. Enjoy.

Why settle for an i5? I chose the FX 8150. (Not that I need 8 cores to play this 32-bit game, but this is not the only game I play.) And if you go with winblows 7 pro instead of home you can enjoy the e-peen stroking awesomeness of 32Gb of RAM.

TS2 and TS3: Where adult sims potty train their toddlers.
TS4: Where adult sims make Angry Poops.

Which game is made for the juvenile minded?
