This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage
Default An issue I can not find an answer to no matter where I look
This is really fustrating,, I have pets installed as an expansion pack, and everytime I try to get custom content that requires just pets (dogs, cats, pet stuff) it tells me that I do not have the required expansion pack when i know for a fact I do bc i Play the game all the time! very rarely does it work where it doesnt say that and its only with the package installer. any suggestions?

If you mean Sims2Packs are the type of file you're having trouble with, try installing them with Sims2Pack Clean Installer http://www.modthesims.info/d/409950 . That happens to me sometimes with Sims2Packs and the Clean Installer has always done the trick.
