Can't find connections to a dead sim in SimPE to delete them?

Basically, I adopted this sim but she was the wrong gender, so I grew her up and killed her, forgetting that it would leave her on the parent's family tree. Now I want to delete her or get rid of her ties to the parents, but when I go on her, she has no family ties to delete, but I'm pretty sure she's still on the parents family tree. What can I do? :S

If SimPE doesn't show family ties, then there's only one other solution, that I know of.

Download the HoodChecker (see my profile) and run it in Check mode to see whether it can find the missing family ties. If so, then the HoodChecker will remove them in Remove mode.
