Wow! That's an impressive place...

Anyways. Maybe use the Mansard roof, then make the roof angle quite steep. That's the only way I can think of acheiving a roof like that.

Oh my, you're keen. Lewjen's right, the mansard roof should work well. You may have to play around with the angle for a while. The roof looks like it's going to be the most difficult part of that build, as it often is.

Lewjen and sims3addicted - TS3 doesn't allow adjustment of mansard roofs.

To achieve this effect, the smartest thing to do would be to use that half hipped roof sections.

1) Place another floor down one tile away from each edge.
2) Put down the half gables all around the building
3) Adjust their height to match the top of the house

Now streaming on at Twitch.tv/SeveralNerds or UglyHoesConnect.com - whichever is easier for you to type in your browser.

Which is precisely why I suck at creating roofs, because I have no idea what I am talking about

Yes,i used the half thingy, but now the angles match the height of a wall so the part for the main entrance is WAY too tall.

If the floor the "mansard" roof is going to be on won't have living space use CFE to make the Roof wall 3/4 or 1/2 height and match the roof angle to it. You would have to lower the level of that entire floor then you could use floor tiles and a fence trim. Hope this helps. If you aren't clear on what I mean PM me and I'll explain step by step.

Now i've realized the middle part is a statue, but there are no statues(that i can find) that look like that.Tell me what you think so far though, this is the main building

Look good, but you need a new roof color, take a look at this

Also maybe the short rod-iron fence would look better, not as heavy (just a thought)

I just realized the time of day made the roof look tan. It's actually Grey. It'll either be grey or dark green when i'm done.
