Hello! Has anybody in MTS seen any weird commercials? If so then post your experiences.

Can't believe people still read these.

My favourite one was from years ago, and I can't find it anywhere It was a Reader's Digest advert. Someone throws a letter from Reader's Digest in the bin, only it was a letter to tell them that they've won a cruise. So the bin goes on the cruise! It was just so funny, and still makes me laugh when I think of it!

Here's a website I used to get a lot of fun from:
http://www.japander.com/
http://www.japander.com/japander/index.htm
(I say "used to" because I haven't really checked it recently)

The site is basically a compilation of the ludicrous ads that Western celebrities do in Japan. My particular favorites, if I can recall them, were the "Dennis Hopper and rubber duck in bathtub" and "Schwarzenegger trying to say takoyaki" ads (note that the ads weren't for rubber ducks or for takoyaki; it's just that ads are so random that those are the things that stick in my memory more than what the advertised product was).

Ads for "The General Auto Insurance" make me giggle, because it's so obvious that they've been staged.

^^^^ Lol I wouldn't feel safe buying that car insurance just based off their cheap ass commercials,
If I got in a terrible accident what could they afford to pay for? New windshield wipers? XD

I love the Jake from State farm commercial

I found the worst add or possibly the worst toy ever the other day. Anatomical dolls are one thing, but that takes it to a whole new level.

J.G Wentworth commercials. Those guys are getting desperate. You can tell by the fact that the actors SING THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE COMMERCIAL.
