Ah, OK, that's great - though I wouldn't mind even if I did have to use both, as it's so quick and easy!

I think the reason the TSRW ones dont work on Macs is becuase the VPXY points to the old, original, GEOM for any LOD other than 0. Whereas the CTU version has a full complement of VPXYs, blends, GEOMs and everything else - it's a "full" package and not a cut down bare-minimum version like TSRW.

Makes sense - thanks for the explanation. Again proves that CTU is the superior product!

Heres a proof of concept for purple lenses:

Wow, I want my glasses to go bad too!

My cruddy rough draft glasses never looked so good! I like the purple tinted lenses, also. Are these some additions you're going to make to the SimGeom editor? It'd be fantastic to be able to play around with the various lens properties.

Yeah I already made the changes - this is from testing. I'll upload a new version later today.

Here you go - just a small modification to allow the MTNF entries to be edited (haven't enabled add/delete yet).

To get the purple glasses I changed a bunch of stuff but the Emission I think was the main one. To change the opacity you change the Diffuse value, iirc.

Thanks for helping me!
Can you explain how that work?

#91 Old 24th Oct 2009 at 7:34 PM
um well, in my case, my mesh didn't have a lot of information: TGI, MTNF, shaders. sim geom is for fixing that
quite a lot of explaining, could you come into live chat? it would be easier

Delphy?
When cloning a accesory there is a note on the meshes Tab that says:
''You only need LOD0 when doing hair or accesoires''
But wich boxes you choose when cloning the bracelets wich has no LOD0(lod1 2 and 3)

Do i select LOD1 and put it in the LOD0 box?
I am asking because when choosing LOD1 and put it in the LOD1 box the accesoire differs from its original position on the body.

If the accessory only has LOD1 and above, then you should just use LOD1 and above and not LOD0.

ok, then the off position will be caused by something else.
Accesoires are very tricky to work with. Got some strange bugs in a few.

alright, here I am again with a new accessory mesh problem. after installing world adventures I encountered a problem with my tophat - it get's flashy red and floats somewhere high above head. some people also claimed that after update 1.7 it gets strange:
