Well as for the things that some of us want and may not be in the base game, maybe it's because EA doesn't want to have everything in it so that they can have more ideas for EP's.

Well, if they added every Sims1 and Sims2 EPs to the Base Game, it will break the record of the biggest commercial game, probably 3 or 4 DVDs. 20 Giga-bytes

Plus why continue to buy Sims2 EPs if the Sims3 will have them all.

Well I still want as much of Sims 2 EP's in the base game as possible so that we can have new EP ideas.
