I think it might be possible to add your own SFX to The Sims 2... ...but it might require lots of coding and editing... ...I don't know much about modding and hacks, but I do know where Sims 2 sound FX are normally packaged under...
C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 University\TSData\Res\Sound
from there (back up before attempt)... ... their are 8 files...

Those 8 files are the sound FX found in the sims 2. If you find a way to edit those packages, then you might be able to see what is linked to the sound effect, and what to insert in order to have a sim interact with an object what sound effect corresponds with it... ...don't take my word for it though, as I am not a modder, or create hacks...
if you do find a way to view those package files, make sure you
backup your stuff before you try anything.
