Default modding problem - distorted map
hey gang, just need a little help, look at the pics below and tell me what you think, has it ever happened to you and what can i do to solve this problem and prevent it happening in the future!

as you can see, my coloured map appears to have been placed over my mesh, instead of only colouring the designated areas. The red is for the cylindrical base stand, and the checkers mean clear space (transparent in game) (i dont know if that works either)

The stdAlphaBlendMode in material defenintion is at blend, so im hoping it works!

in this one, it shows you a preview of the object. Also btw the "print screen" cut off some of the red colouring so the red doesnt appear big enugh, it actually is.

This has to do with how you did the uv_mapping for your object
