Default weather change
I like to control weather in the game, but often times the weather changes and I keep having to switch it back to what i wanted. Is there something out there that prevents the game from changing weather without the players control?

Under the "Seasons & Environment Options" game menu, you can untick whichever seasons you don't want.

Sorry, I misunderstood. If there's a particular weather you don't want, you can untick it from the same menu.

I use the Weather Mod: http://modthesims.info/d/481816
In addition to letting you control the time, it also lets you control the weather, overcast conditions, seasons, snow depth/cover, and tree death (make all the trees dead or alive).
