So I downloaded a house with a basement that was immediately next to a pool, it had windows that gave you a view of the inside of the pool. Awesome. How do I do it.

Pretty sure that there is a tutorial on this. Have you looked in the tutorials forum?

i used cheats... "move objects on" placed clear doors first, sim couldnt walk between little void in ground. i tried arches with the cheat still enabled "moveobjects on"

then i turned off the cheat. "moveobjects off"

I've tried that trick where you delete the area between the pool and the basement and it's not deleting anything. Has the game in the latest patches gotten rid of this trick or something?

^^I believe they have. I remember a thread a while ago talking about that tut (or someone asking a similar question) and it was decided that the latest patch[es] have screwed that capability up. I'm not sure if there was a workaround though... or perhaps a new combination of cheats that accomplish it.


Aaaand... this is where I wish my memory would stop failing me in this department. I swear, anything technology related (especially anything that requires more than one cheat in the sims) goes in one ear and out the other.
