Deleting owned clothing

Once a piece of clothing is purchased or randomly given on age up, is it possible to delete it from the dresser?

Mootilda had a SimPE plugin which is supposed to delete unwanted clothing from the family dressers. I've never tried it.

Mootilda's SimPE plugin I take removes just the clothing that household members are not wearing.

Yes. Mootilda said that if there are any outfits that you want to keep, make sure that those outfits are set as your sims' default clothing before using the plug-in.
