Sorry for the late Round 3 scores, one of our judges was very busy due to the holidays, but here they are now
Round 3 scores are up!
Individual evaluations:

I enjoyed your last round! Overall good job!
I think this is the best sim you’ve made in the competition. She also suits the part in the movie, which I think sounds really interesting. I really like your movie picture. It shows a lot of emotion, which I know is hard to make in The Sims. Your shots are also big enough and lighted up clearly. Good job!
I wish you would have step out of your comfort zone in originality and try something different for the last round. Your sim looks the same as previous rounds and similarly, the same feedback is still given here: she could be more unique. Your lighting is a little too backlit, especially in the third promotional picture. The lighting from outside is bit unflattering, but it’s not your fault it’s the TS3 lighting engine. Good use of depth of field, with that all close-up in the foreground and her pose with her lover in the background. It looks like a movie poster for a romantic movie or a cover of a romance novel. I think in the close-up in the third picture you were able to really capture her emotion.

Nice job! I really liked your story. I love the nice big pictures!
I want take away any points for the bonus picture, but as stated there is no extra point to get from it, so it’s really not necessary. Your sim looks very stunning and I love your movie plot and picture. Your shots are also really clear and quite noticeable. I did like your sim in the last round a tiny bit better, but it doesn’t do much bad for this round. Really good job!
Except for the face shape, she looks very similar to your last entry. Although the way her head is angle of your neutral face headshot and eyes side-glance make it hard to accurate judge her uniqueness. Similar to next round, your scene is near perfect. Your lighting is amazing as per usual, your pose is strong & appropriate, and props well staged that adds to the scene, excellent CASTing, and great story. I took 0.5 off the rules for adding an extra picture, as it is unfair to your fellow contestants. Besides that, however, there is nothing really to say here because you continue to blow us away!
Sunnaie
I loved your sim and loved her look in her everyday shot. She lost some of that uniqueness in her custom content. Nice job.
The feet not showing in the snow doesn’t matter. A full shot just means that we have to see the sim clearly and fully dressed. I do agree that her nose doesn’t look quite good, but I didn’t take away any points for that as I find the sim itself very nicely made. Especially as her character. She might be a tiny bit more plain as herself. It might be the eyes that looks a bit dead. The movie picture is nice, but not the most interesting one in this round.
I think Jessica looks better in your first headshot; it’s closer and more flattering make –up. Although, I can see what you were going for in your second headshot, good attention to detail! I love her purple hair it really suits her. Good bio, some details about her mother and father’s history were run on sentences. It makes for a story that goes a little too long and could be tightened up and more concise. This, however, was not the case for your movie description, I felt as if I was reading a lovely descriptive passage from a novel. You should write sim stories, if you haven’t already, I would be an avid reader! Your choice in adding the two comparisons was good because it gave me perspective and helped me judge. Maybe you could have used an osmp to raise her slightly above the snow, would it help? The pose and concept you chose was so classic and cute.
Hanechon
Loved your sim. I just wished you would have given her some maturity. Nice job!
All the sims you’ve made for this competition has been really stunning, but I have to say that this one is my favourite! She really stands out, and to me she is upload material. Your pictures are clear and lovely. The movie shot as well. It really sets the scene. I don’t have anything else to add. Full pot from me!
Your sim looks very similar to your round one entry, although she looks most unique here. I think this is probably due to you using the same sim as a base for all 3 sims, would have preferred if you stepped out of your comfort zone some more. What makes your sim more unique this time is the upturned nose, its makes her look very snobby and is very role appropriate for her story. The nose fits well harmoniously amongst her features. Besides her features, she looks like a very rich sim in settings, props, and clothing you chose. Your lighting was slight better last round and could have been better. You could have chosen a more fitting, expressive pose to highlight the silliness in your story. For example: he could be on his needs proposing to her, while she holds her hand out examining the ring disapprovingly. Or if you were using the snob trait animation pose, ignoring the boy. This is scene where the sims 3 animations would really shine in their over the top, it would really add to it overall.
Sim-ple
Nice job on your sim! He was a cutie. Last shot the attention was taken away from the sim you presented.
Demetri is a really handsome and well made sim. Your plot sounds like a nice romantic drama movie. Mandy looks a bit ”dead” in the movie picture only. I wish she would look more in love with Jake. It’s also just a tad too dark I think.
You chose a male this time, good choice. A little more sculpting could be done on his eyes, but very good (and attractive I might add) sim. The picture quality in your promo picture is relatively fine, no worries. The baseball field background you created is very good and fitting with the story, the same goes for costume choice. I also love the logo you created. The poses you chose were a little awkward. Mostly the pose you chose for your actor with the link arms. You should have chosen a different pose that was less model pose and more natural. Your lighting was too backlit on the actors faces. The lighting from outside is bit unflattering, but its not your fault it’s the TS3 lighting engine. My advice is to take picture at sunset or sunrise on sims 24 hr day to get the best lighting possible. Or the scene could benefit if you used more outdoor lights.
xrebellia
Nice job on the sim! I also really liked your story and you displayed it well in your last shot!
Your sim is really unique and she suits her part very well. I am also very fond of the movie plot and picture. The color theme is very thoroughly done and the setting is just lovely. You’ve done a great job through these three rounds, getting better and better which I award you with a full score this time.
Your sim is very pretty! I can see the Chinese / American mix in her features. I think her eyebrow curve should be a little more sculpted though. What an interesting romantic drama plot twist. As per usual your scene perfectly described your movie description. Your set is beautifully detailed and elaborate. I just wish the poses you chose this round were a little less model pose-y. However, this did not take too much from your scene. It was more James relaxed pose that seems out of place (he sure is gorgeous! It’s hard to not to notice him!). Your lighting has improved this was especially noticeable in the bedroom that was romantically lit with candles. I like how certain parts of the room are intentionally dark, it adds to overall mood of the picture.
minimogut
Good job on your sim! Your staging of the scene felt a little lacking but overall good job. I did deduct a point for no title.
I am very fond of your movie plot. I think the ghost and human falling for each other is always a nice and interesting story. Your sim also look very interesting with his scarface. Your pictures are big and clear, maybe the last one could be a bit more creepily lighted? Just for the aspect of the story. Besides this you’ve done a good job this round.
I see major improvements on the originality of your Sims. The only thing I would suggest is centering the eye apex more because it right now he is looking slightly cross-eyed. Interesting direction with the story. In the promotional picture, the camera is too low of angle, if you raised the camera more up to on level with the viewers eyes, it would have given the scene more of an emotional impact and connection with the viewer. The scene seems a little bit bare, you could have used more and better placements of props to add dimension to picture.
Starfish_Niccles
Great job! I really enjoyed your story!
I like your concept with the pictures and text, but I think the text might take just a slightly too much focus. The picture is the main part. I do like the poses you’ve chosen though. I think your pictures shows a lot of emotions. Your sim has a very interesting and ethnic look I think. You did a really good job this round. I can see you have put a lot of work into it.
Your sim is really pretty, especially when in character, her makeup and hair really suit her. A few slight facial sculpt adjustments to brow height and her jaw would make her more unique. A taboo romance story that I would totally pay to watch at the movies! I enjoy the fact you were not afraid to take risk in your story telling, and it paid off .I felt too much focus was on the ethnicity of your character in the movie description and it wasn’t necessary. In your promotional picture, the two scenes successfully paint a story, one that is full of emotion. I feel the middle subtitles you used in the borders to divide your scene, really took away from your pictures. Even more so than last time, because all those words you could have added to your movie description to leave more visual space for your pictures to do the talking.
sleepalldaypartyallnight
Nice job on the sim, I really liked her! Background choice was perfect! Nicely done!
What a lovely sim. She looks almost like Florench Welch. She’s very unique. So is the character, which is one of my favourites this round. I love the whole thoroughness of her costume. The colors look really beautiful together. The movie picture is very well lighted. Photos are clear and big. Great job!
Throughout the entire competition I have seen you improve on originality, and this time is no exception. You have created your most unique sim yet, and she is gorgeous. She looks like a very elegant woman. The pose in your scene was very appropriate and right, it what she was reacting to that was a little off. All the guy is doing is making a vampire snarl, what is he doing to cause her such dismay? If showed what he was doing it would have made for a much better scene. Good use of extra in the foreground and your lead character in the background, it gave some viewer interest to the picture as if using a reverse effect in zoom camera lens. For more dramatic effect you could have brought her closer behind him, so it would be as if the viewer was looking over his shoulder at the expression on her face, making the viewer feel more apart of the scene and this gives more emotional impact. Your set is okay but you could have chosen a different, more detailed setting. I cannot put my finger on why, but the picture feels like a quick in game player picture than a movie scene. This is probably due the background or set you chose. Your lighting could be slightly improved in the promotional photo as well.
booalaska
I could really tell you worked on your lighting this round! Nice job.
You have made a really lovely movie picture this round, which I took immediately notice of. The color and lighting is perfect for this kind of movie. Again your sim doesn’t stand out in the masses, but she is definitely an improvement of last time. For future sim making you might want to look more into custom content, like lenses and lipstick. It really makes the big difference sometimes.
Again, I have seen once again you have been improving on your sim’s originality for the better. Her eyebrows are too arched making her look very angry; I would suggest lowering the brow rotation a tad. Nice atmosphere you created in your promotional picture. Very pretty setting and scenery makes for a very soft and sincere mood to picture that is cute and subtle .The slight use of fisheye lenses was also a tasteful touch that makes it looks like both characters a jumping out at you through the picture. I only wish you have used a pose that shows her facial expression towards the camera, that way she could have a more emotional connection to the viewer. Right now it looks as if she is examining his face rather than lovingly caressing her lover’s face. Saving the best for last, your best entry yet!
missy harries
I have loved all your rounds. Great sim! Loved the story, very cute in a sad way.
Really good writing and a really interesting movie plot this round. I think you have done a good job with the details in the movie picture. Your sim looks interesting and I like that she shows a bit ethnicity. It’s hard finding anything to point out, so my tip to you is just keep improving your work and enjoy it further.
Lines like “…they have load's in common such as acne, music, and stuff” and “her favorite rapper [is] '50 Simoleons'” are priceless xD. Your story seems the most fitting in this round for the title” How I met your dad”. Your sim looks like she has lots of characteristic charm. Although, she seems less unique than your sims in previous rounds. More sculpting work on her overall face shape is needed: her face height is too low, her jaw is too weak, and her cheekbone height could be raised, cheekbone curve could be more pronounced. In the first picture your sim profile did not have a neutral expression, so you lost 0.5 in pose category. In the promotional shot I wish she were doing more instead of just standing there and lying on the ground playing dead. A more expressive pose could have been used for your main character. The father is stealing the scene because he is reacting and interacting with environment, while she is not. Your background is okay, but it makes the car seem parked. If you placed the car in he middle of the street/road with the actors posed the same way it would give the picture more action based interest. All pictures are slightly too dark and could use more lights. Especially in the profile pictures where your sim is too backlit; more lights in front her would help me see her features better.

Lovely and unique sim great job! Way to finish the last round!
Such a stunning sim and a really cool setting for the movie. It’s one of my favourite picture this round, and it looks like a movie I would have loved my self, being a ”Hangover” fan. Nice twist making females the main characters. I really don’t have anything to point out this round. I though it was a lovely entry all together.
I like your sim although her facial structure seems very similar to your sim from the previous round. Your one of the only contestants so far who has chosen “ Hangover in Sunset Valley”! Good story, I’m guessing it’s based off the real life hangover movie series except with girls? Interesting twist. Your scene is very well done. My only minor suggestions are is if you were to go further CC and custom by making it look less organized. I know you tried with the random clutter but perhaps spacing them out more would give more realism to the scene. Without reading the movie description, it looks like the girls are passed out from having a “crazy sleepover” rather than a crazy night at club. Their clothes resemble pajamas, making it look they came prepared to sleep over in back room of the club. Smudged make-up would have also been a nice touch.
Aree
Liked your sim she had lots of character and made me smile! Loved the last picture, but the walls stood out far more than your sim. Loved your story. Overall lovely job!
I like the expressions. They give her a bit of character, without making it hard to notice either facial features or makeup. The sim is quite beautiful and I love her in the movie. The setting is stunning. The colors are perfect and everything is so expressional. Lighting and picture sizes are spot on as well!
I was going to mention the lack of neutral expression makes it hard to accurately judge the originality of your sim but it seems like you already got it covered The costumes you chose for both actors and the set you created is beautifully elaborate detailed. I suggest, however, you be more careful next time to chose patterns and colors that don’t clash with each other. One less pattern would have made all the difference in your scene. Pay more attention to color scheme. For a feeling of harmony and unity through the pic, keep your secondary colors coordinating with the main color. Accent colors appear in very small amounts in your pic, but are extremely important for the overall look. Often the color of a sim's eyes can be your accent color... or a shade in their makeup, streaks in their hair, or jewelry. Having an accent color that is quite different from your main and secondary colors will make it stand out, and draw the eye to that color or the sim wearing that color. Your colors chosen in your scene unfortunately draw attention away from the sims in your scene and brings more attention to your beautiful elaborate set, which I’m sure is the opposite of what you wanted to achieve. A creative take on a reinterpretation of 1001 Nights! Your poses you chose are very fitting and emotionally impactful.
daniandan
Nice job on finishing out the rounds! Pictures were very dark and hard to get any detail. Your story felt incomplete.
First of all your pictures of the characters are too dark. It’s actually impossible to judge him based on this, as I can’t see his facial features. Because of this I will need to take away a lot of point in rule adherence as well, since you are suppose to bring us well lighted pictured. I’m really sorry. I also don’t think your settings are very suitable for a romantic movie. They don’t give much away. The next time you enter a competition you might want to study the rules more deeply, and pay more attention to how your pictures come out. Good luck and I hope you enjoyed the competition even though I was a bit strict this round.
A lot of my advice and feedback from the previous round applies here. Your pictures are way too dark. I can’t accurately judge the originality of your sim because your pictures are too dark and I can’t see his face or features. I even tried to boost my screen resolution brighter but it didn’t help. This is really unfortunate because based on previous rounds I saw some improvement in your sim making skills and now I can’t reward you for it. Your lighting could be improved by playing around the use of more outdoor lights. Your pictures look a bit too stretched. Please don't just take a small pic and size it up in your graphics program to get bigger pics - this only makes the dimensions larger but doesn't add any detail and just gives you a blurry, pixelated larger pic, not a nice clear one. TS3 pictures allows for nice big clear pictures without any 3rd party editor. Just use the ‘tab’ key , use w or scroll to zoom, and press ‘C’ to capture to get close up. As per the rules, your pictures are too small and I had to take points off. I also had to take one point off because your movie description and were a few sentences too short. The pose you choose was great but seemed way out place based on the random background you chose. Based on your short movie description and “Spring break” I think beaches, resorts, tropical locations…or at least the play on the word “spring”, would a field of dandelions (cheesy I know but fitting and easy for a romantic sim film). With a little more effort in taking pictures and creating your set, your scene could have been something spectacular.
Crdroxxpl
Nice job! I wish the pictures had been bigger. I would have loved to be able to have seen more detail in your last shot. I really liked your sim!
I think you have found some really interesting clothing for your sim this round. I like it! Your pictures are a bit small though, and it’s very hard to notice the details in the movie picture. I would have preferred that you had used the one with him holding the lady alone, since that’s the strongest shot. Remember to read the rules when it comes to picture sizes.
You’re the comeback kid! I admire that you returned to the completion and did not give up. I had take points off rules, unfortunately, because all your pictures were too small. Your profile pictures were zoomed out a little too far away. In your third promotional picture, if you chose the right picture as the main picture with a more elaborate setting, it would have been better. Your walls and set are too bare, you could have casted the walls and floor and use more intentionally placed furniture. Never show /reveal your pose player it breaks immersion. The evil Maximillian could also be added as an extra to that scene in the same main picture. Your profile pictures are bit too back lit, putting lamps beside or in front of him would help. I did not understand the plot connection to “How I met your dad”, why would we ask, “How did your parents meet?” Is Maximillian Miss Currency’s father? Causing Clint Jones to problematically fall in love with villain’s daughter? Did these two spies meet on mission and get married and the whole movie retelling their romantic adventures to their children? Because you were not clear, it leaves your story with parts missing that I tried to fill in the blanks, and in turn, was very confusing. I did like the creative and humorous names you gave all your characters. You vastly improved in some areas from your previous round.
Buckley
What can I say beautiful sim she really fit the role! Loved your story very creative and unexpected! Perfect!
I think you have done an amazing job with your pictures and sims for all three rounds. The staging and lighting is perfect. The movie plot is very well written and we get to know your sim through her look and description. This is one of my favourite entries for all rounds. I could definitely see your movie picture as a DVD cover. I have nothing else to add!
On first glance, your sim reminded me of Selena Gomez. She is really pretty and really cute. It’s great you able were able to create a sim that looks different from the previous round and yet is just as or if not original. I love story, and your picture is also very cute to match! You have great attention to every last detail in the scene from the setting to the color of her make-up to her pose. It’s impressive how you able execute your scene and stories so perfectly detailed under such limited time constraints. Again, I admire how you pose all actors in the scene to interact with environment the main character, and still have her stand out. All the poses you chose are just right. You’re really good at this, you should write stories with detailed scenes pictures scenes more often! Besides gushing on how amazing your entries are per usual, I have nothing to say or kind find one thing wrong, which is rare. That’s why I think I am more than justified in giving you the perfect score!
dangmal
Nice job! Really liked the last shot very cute! I wish your pictures had been bigger.
Such a lovely movie shot! I laughed when I read about Gaylor Dautner and the 8 sequels! Anything sell for teenagers, as long as one have a sobby love story and some kind of humanoid creature. Your head shots could be a tad bigger, but they are very clear and well lighted and it’s easy to see your sims features.
Maybe creating unique sims that look different than the regular looks of the sims 3 sims is not your fortay but that’s okay. She looks pretty though. I found the line “teenage girls will watch anything and rule the world in terms of deciding what is popular and successful, there are currently eight sequels planned” very funny. I just wish you would give us a few more details of the movie plot and its relation to the romance genre so it would make your entry seem more relevant. I like your pose and background, the clipping is something you can’t avoid.
Tamlyn
Great sim! Really nice job on this last round! With the custom content you gave her a very mature look which I felt didn’t work with the given role. Nice job!
Your sim looks very unique, and again I find it great to see some diversity in the ethnicity of the sims this round. Your movie plot and staging looks really good. I love the movie picture and how much it expresses. Also you have done a lovely job with the details in the background. Everything just melts together so naturally. Great job!
Your sim is very cute. I would suggest to lower brows slightly more. I liked how you illuminated your main character and left the other characters in the shadows, that was a really dramatic and neat way to draw attention to her. I like her pose, it just the bottom of her pose seems awkwardly model-y. Your story was cute and funny and I especially enjoyed how clearly you laid out your ideas. It would be really funny if the guy was pictured mid- choking (using the sims 3 insane choking himself animation or other various EA choking animations) on the nut filed pastry, that would have really brought the scene to life. I am able to mostly see what your story is by look at your very detailed promotional shot , which is good. Perhaps it would be more recognizable if you had her dressed in apron or pastry chef hat of some sort.
Joe213
Great round for you! Loved the last shot he really looked the part! Loved your last picture.
Max is one handsome sim! He really suits the description. As for CC, it isn’t a must. For the other rounds it has probably been more useful to make a complete setting. For this round I personally think it’s more about the expressions, which you have nailed. The movie shot is awesome! The blonde lady takes a bit of my attention, but she goes well with the plot, and it’s not hard to see who is the main star of this film. Lighting and pictures are great!
Last time there was emphasis not on more CC but smart use of CC/game content in the scene. You can have too much or too little in scene. Props and sims should be placed /chosen in the scene with purpose and not just randomly placed. Fortunately this round you seemed to have found a proper balance. Your scene is much more focused and the viewer can easily deduct what going on by looking at picture alone, which is good. Your sim is cute but more sculpting/working on his mouth is needed. The lipstick marks on face was nice attention to detail. All the poses you used on the extras were great, it’s just a shame the pose you chose for your sim did not fit into the scene like the others you chose for your extras did. Who is he pointing to? Where is he looking at? He seems just stands there oblivious to the many angry girls try to kill him! I always suggest and action pose or a pose that interacts with the scene when in doubt. Like if he you used EA coward trait pose, it would more appropriate because for angry girls are trying to kill him or at least it seems like he is a lot of trouble. Or maybe if you chose a pose that has him caressing of the girl’s face, it would imply he ‘s a playboy till the end and uses his charm to get out trouble.
Miss Discordia(thera.)
Lovely job! I loved the colors used in his outfit. It really made him stand out. I loved the sim nice job!
This is one of the best Chinese sims I have ever seen! You have captured his ethnicity very well, which again makes him unique to the full. I was happy to see that ”thera.” was you, as I thought this entry was very lovely when I first saw it. It was one of those I took most notice of. I really have nothing else to point out, as I think you have done such a lovely job on this entry.
Your sim is very unique and has a stylistic charm to him. I love the beautiful scenery, setting, and colors throughout your entry. I also enjoy the detailed costumes you chose, very beautiful. Although, I like the pose you chose, I feel you could choose something more appropriate for this round theme, something more romantic like an embrace between the two lovers. Standing back-to-back stock center in the image with no expression what so ever, tells me nothing about the movie. I could not tell the story just by looking at the scene. Well done overall!
wizkid770
Nice job on finishing all the rounds! I liked your sim but the pictures were dark and the last picture lost some detail. Good job.
A part of entering a contest is to make pictures and sims that really stands out. When you say you didn’t bother opening the game to change the costume of your character it will be judged from my point of view. Seeing how much effort many contestants have put into their entries I think this is fair. For me your sim and the character he plays are now the same. The character is just him with a bit shorter hair, but still the same clothes. The boat setting is nice, but it’s just a tiny bit dark.
Your sim is cute; you just need to work on making his features less rounded and sculpting his eyes and more. I love the idea of your scene, it had the potential to be very romantic but you lost points for the quality of your execution. Firstly your third promotional shot is way too dark, it would have benefited from more outdoor lights or/and taking the picture at sunset or sunrise. The lighting is best at these times in game and it would be extra romantic. I can’t tell if they are suppose to be in a boat (I assume so) or sitting on bench besides a fence near the water. If it is a boat it would be best to picture them zoomed out a little further in the middle of the ocean that would emphasize from a viewer perspective that they both are alone and the intimacy that involves. Think of drawing inspiration from that romantic moonlit scene in the little mermaid where Ariel and the prince were sitting in the middle of a pond in a rowboat. The pose you chose lacks emotion could also been better, as it makes or breaks this type of scene. Eating itself is not romantic, is how you eat, usually sharing food, that can be suggestive further emphasizing a feeling of intimacy and romance, a “What’s mine is yours” and “sharing our lives together mentality. You might be limited in being able to portray that because of lack of romantic eating options in the sims 3 animations. They don’t have to be eating, they could doing something else together there are hundreds of custom, non-eating, seated, couples poses that would have fit the bill perfectly just as well. I like the particular perspective view you chose for your picture of how we she his face and back of her head, puts more of the focus on him. Your movie description is very short and too vague and did not seem to relate to the promotional picture. Your bio had a nice ring to it though. The lack of punctuation, proper spelling & missing words made it very difficult to read and understand your story.
liujiaxie
Great job all around! I would have liked to have had better lighting for your sim. Taking pictures indoors with nice lighting can give you different effects and create a mood.
Your sim this round is a good improvement of your last I think. Your writing is still great and I think you are good at making interesting movie plots. The staging could be a bit more interesting, and maybe the main character could be more in focus? Now they seem very equal and it might be hard to point out who is to stand out between them. Your head shot are a bit too dark this round. They should be taken inside, with a better light setting.
Everything is so cute! Cute sim, you need to work on defining her jaw more. Cute story, though a little cliché but this is the sims so that’s okay Overall, you could zoom in slightly more. Cute pose I just wish we could see their faces more. This could have been done by moving the camera or rotating them 45 degrees.
Heaven
One word Smexy! I love him what a talent you have for creating unique sims! What a way to end the contest. Great job!
Malone looks like a real life photo to me. Which obviously make him an unique sim. He’s perfectly suited for his role and I think you’ve done a lovely job with the staging. All your photos are clear, big and well lighted like before. It’s really easy to see who is the main star in your movie!
You have been strong contender throughout this entire competition, and this time is no exception! Those brows really help him stand out, I’m sure he the only sim who could pull them off. Was Adam Levine your inspiration, I can see their resemblance a little. Your scene is perfect; I cannot see one thing that could be done differently. Your poses are appropriate and interactive with the scene. It really shows his popularity with groupies and his playboy personality. The bartender that clearly over it in the foreground adds visual and story interest. The back stage setting you created is very solid from a planning perspective, every prop had its place and it was not overly detailed. Its exceptional your were able to create so much detail with such little use CC in the scene .You really got the rock and roll vibe really well. I would say I’m impressed but I have come expect amazing quality from you. Bravo!

Nice last round you made real progress on creating a unique sim! I would suggest you still work with your lighting and getting nice strong images. Staging was cute in the last round. Your character did not stand out in the last picture. I did deduct a point for the picture size.
Great plot and a very emotional staging for your movie shot. Your sim looks a bit like a deep thinker to me and I think she is very suitable for this type of role. I actually prefer her in the movie, as I think the head shot of her character looks a bit clearer than the head shot of the real life her. It’s almost like it’s from two different games. I didn’t take away any points for this though, as both are lighted well enough.
Your sims have a certain signature style to them that is uniquely yours. The transformation is the second mug shot is dramatic, in a good way. I loved your story and description, it’s very well written. Your promotional picture is equally cute. Your pose was great, it was as if I was viewing a couple’s portrait, but your scene was a little bare. Instead of a black background, I would have loved see green hills and meadows behind them to match those lovely flowers on the floor. Or her house with her parents in fits of anger & frustration in the background; these would have added so much more context to the scene. And that way I could see more of your story acted out in the scene, besides that, great job on everything. Well done!

Well done!

YAY! Results for my birthday! that was something I was hoping for!
Congrats to Buckley and everyone who won a bonus category! I really enjoyed this contest. If I learned anything though, its that I enjoy building sets and staging everything far more than I like the sim making portion. It also got me started on CAW because I made the set for part 2 in that. Overall it was a very fun contest and I am really happy to have played in it!

Thanks so much to Elexis for hosting and the judges for their time and detailed feedback - it can't be easy judging.
It was a lot of fun and not something I would normally do. Seeing everyone's different take from just a genre and a name was awesome. The winners were well deserved (I'm pretty sure Buckley is the only one in shock, none of the rest of us are ) and those are some awesome little buttons for the extra catergories.

I Want All Your Sims!
In the spirit of MTS activity month and the general spirit of MTS modding community, I highly encourage everyone to upload their sims!
Uploading them with the tag or in the title # castingcall,#casting call , casting call, Casting Call..etc. And your promotional pics are strongly suggested to be included in your upload. You will hardly have to do any work since most of your entries already fit mts guidelines, so you won't have to change pictures or the bio. Although some might have to correct their picture size or correct their shots if it has pay content on the main sim. And if your sim doesn't get accepted, you might correct some things but this will future help you improve as a creator.
The whole idea of the contest, is essentially, based on the "other" sim Creator Guidelines for MTS. It would be a shame to have not have your sims shared in other games along with players playing out their lovely stories. At same time what better way for you to showcase their hard work over the pass few weeks?

I want to extend a special thank you to Elexis, who has been a wonderful and gracious host. I would also like to thank the judges for their amazing feedback.
Everyone did such a great job!

Congratulations to Buckley It was a pleasure judging all of you! It was exciting to see the creativity and the improvement of everyone each round. At same time what better way for you to showcase their hard work over the pass few weeks? |
i would love to upload mine but i lost some of the actors/actresses so i would have to remake them and upload them without custom content

Hold on, I might actually have the male actor and the second female actor (along with the ghost), but I'm not sure, and can't check at the moment. I deleted the first on purpose, because she was a sim that I made for personal use, and made tweaks to
