You simply export the texture image rfrom the .package with
SimPE as a .bmp and then in MilkShape you can open it and assign it to your mesh in the usual way.
Although importing the texture into MilkShape is handy for uv_mapping, it has nothing to do with what texture will be used the game.
For using a different texture on your object in the game, you import it into the .package with
SimPE exactly as you do when re-coloring an object.
