Default Making a mod/hack EP Compatible
I was just wondering how to make mods/hacks EP compatible. I've got some hacks that I really like and are no longer being updated because the creators are gone and was hoping maybe there's an easy way to make them compatible with the new EPs.

Generally if a hack is actually broken in a new EP, it's quite a business updating them. The hack normally has to be re-created with the new EP's code, then if there is any intention of sharing it then it the new and old versions need to be combined into a single package which runs the correct version of the code for the given EP.

So even hacks made for the base game can't be converted to go into an EP? As in object hacks.

Sometimes they will work, sometimes they just need minor changes, sometimes they need a lot. It depends on the object and the nature of the hack.
