This user has the following games installed:

Sims 3, World Adventures, Ambitions, Late Night, Generations, Pets, Supernatural, Seasons, University Life
Default Game Present but Not Installed?
I have Steam's version of Sims 3, and have played it over 1000 hours.

Tonight when I went to fire it up, I got the "welcome to installing Sims 3!" page. I checked on my games section at Steam, and it seriously doesn't think I have it installed. It's there, though, physically, on my computer. (It recognizes that I own the base game and the DLC I do actually have, just "not installed.")

What's causing this, and what can I do about it?

Solved. "Reinstalled" and it figured out that it was still there, right where it was supposed to be. (Base game and DLC both.)
