Default Higher Resolution Computer Results in Tiny Windowed Mode
Okay, I just got a new computer and installed Sims 2 on it. When I added the -w to get the windowed mode it worked perfectly as always. Except that the window is tiny. The option to maximize the window is greyed out. When I opened the game I found that the only resolution available is 800x600. For comparison my screen resolution is 1920x1080. I need to be able to use the windowed mode so I can get to other things while I'm playing. So how do I have a windowed game that isn't too small?

I have a new Lenovo laptop running Windows 10 Home Edition, version 10.0.17763 with a Intel(R) UHD Graphics 620 card.

I don't know if this topic has been discussed before but other than instructions on how to us -w to get into windowed mode, I can't seem to find anything.

You need to do the graphic rules. Also make sure to get the 4 gb patch. Sims 2 needs some help on newer computers.

If the Graphics Rules Maker program doesn't work for you (it didn't work for my computer), here is a link to how to change the GraphicRules.scr file manually.
