This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default Can I get a default replacement for the elf face with no elf ears??
Ok, so I can't stand having elves in my game. I have Everquest for that lol. I have searched and searched and I cannot find a way to get rid of that damn elf face in my game. It seems like 50% of my townies end up with it and it's driving me nuts. Can anyone offer me any hope? Thanks!

Wouldn't it be possible to copy everything from a non-elf face tempelate (of your choice) to a default for the elf tempelate? In SimPE that is. Asdfghjkl Idk how to explain haha! Do you understand what I mean?

There is one face tempelate, the last one I believe, which has large pointy ears

Sure it's possible, you just need a default face template to overwrite the eelf template that was made without elf ears. Here's face templates page from Default database where you can check the existing listed templates to see if there's any without the elf ears. I can think of few sets where all the templates have elf ears but not any without them but I could be wrong.

All that said, the elf template shouldn't pop up randomly, do you perhaps have this mod or another like that?

That's the thing, I can't find any defaults for that face that aren't also elf ears. I don't know how to make my own.

Thanks, I knew about the pointy ears, but somehow I thought there might be a whole bunch of them I missed. Can you just adjust the ears down and bend them a little in CAS?

This set has a replacement for the elf that has normal ears. They're all individual files, so you don't have to replace all the templates unless you want to. The file you want to use is Tabby_DEFAULTFACE_Subtlety_26Eelf.package

http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=560687

This won't fix sims that are already in the game. You'll have to give them plastic surgery to do that. Remember to use the DNA fixer in my sig or else they'll still pass the genes for pointy ears on to any children they may have.
