Default C.A.W Crash Problem
Whenever I try to select the png Image, it crashes on me.
It only seems to do it when I click on the '...' to actually choose what map I want.

Has anyone seen this problem before and, if so, can you help me find a solution. TIA

Are you talking about when you select a heightmap to start a new world? Are you using the default .pngs or importing a new one?

If it crashes the minute you choose the browse button, before you've actually selected the world, I'd suspect that there's something wrong with your installation... i.e. it's not finding .pngs where it expects to.

OK, it crashes when I select the height map.
It lets me click the button to select, but then I go to select a .png and it crashes.

Oh, and yes, I'm using the default ones... >.>

Corrie, I'm afraid I can't be a lot of help, but I don't have WA and don't have any problems running C-A-W.

Are you sure you have enough resources available? C-A-W is quite the hog when it comes to computer power. My computer is fairly mid-range by today's standards and if I run anything else along with C-A-W I don't run it for long.
