Glad MTS is back. Not much else to say except that I feel a lot better today, and have an update!

“I did do it for myself. I took what I wanted, I didn't feel like sitting around waiting for him to bite the dust like that idiot porn star is doing. So I employed your father's services.”
“And he just killed his wife's father. Great.”
“Oh, no. This was before you were born, before Ellis, even. He didn't kill his wife's father. He took your mother as payment for killing him.”

“Yes, you heard. I didn't wish to part with any of the inheritance so I thought Sheri would do instead. It worked out well for all of us. Mostly.”
“Including us, Grandmother? The three people who were born out of that sham?”

“So years later, after my arrangement with Tate had worked out nicely, Miles returned for revenge. Hence what you saw when you were 8. Tate took my money to make him go away, and we were bankrupted. Then we came to Sunset Valley, and you know the rest.”
“And you lived with us until he could pay you back. Right. But Edward suffered, too. No-one seems to remember that detail.”

“Good for him. It's better than being a proud member of it. Ugh... so Miles was just happy to accept the money? Really?”
