I'm trying to convert one of the Maxis hats for kids. Whew. I didn't realize it would be so much work. I don't think I'm doing too badly. I've got all the black-haired versions done. Now I just have three other hair colours to go. And toddler versions (if I feel up to it)...
I didn't really want to get into doing hair, but these are really more like hats. So I think that still counts as clothes. I won't have to change my title to "Hairdresser to Small Sims".

Clothes coming out of my ears!

Some people obsessively buy clothes. I seem to obsessively create them. Oh, well. It keeps me busy.
Now that the Creations for Kids challenge is winding down, I'm curious about the next theme. I honestly have no idea what it could be... but I hope it's something that I can adapt for kids.
My Sim kids are so spoiled.

I just submitted my second (and, hopefully, last) entry for the Creator Challenge. I'm glad to get that one finished! It was kind of a pain in the butt (but I think the result is pretty cute).
I think I need to go do something else for a while so I don't dream of Sims.

This is challenging...

Well, I've submitted my first entry for the new Creator Challenge. It's just a small set. I'm still working on the main one.
I often seem to bite off more than I can chew with these projects. But I figured I needed a bit more of a challenge this time. Making kids' stuff isn't exactly a "challenge" for me; I do it all the time!
At least I've learned some new things about meshing this time. Learning's always good.
Speaking of which, I really should learn how to make objects. Mind you, recolouring them would be a first step. I still can't even make a proper bedspread without a great ugly line down the middle!

Frustration city!

I've spent the past four hours or so trying to get a mesh to work, and I can't even get the changes to show up in Body Shop. It's not as if I've never made a mesh before, but for some reason, this time none of my changes will show up. I've remade the recolour file numerous times, re-exported and re-imported the CRES and SHAPE files, replaced the GMDC over and over with different variations of the mesh shape, re-read and followed the tutorials... all to no avail. My changes simply do not show up in Body Shop, and I'm about ready to scream.
