Pine Tree Neighborhood

Playing sims is so much fun, but at times it's like writing. A lull occurs when nothing is very interesting. When that started happening to me, I took to building lots and found that to be the most fun. Recently, I came to a lull in building. I only have the base game on my new computer and I like to build with only the base game so more people can download my lots if they like them. I know that whoever downloads is going to redo the lot anyway! Well, base game gets pretty repetitive and has major roof limitations for me so what to do next? Then, I built a vacation cabin in the pines and created a little sim woman named Sierra Hill. She met Benjamin Long and they had a nice outdoor wedding in the front yard of the cabin. (I had to redo the lawn and get rid of the dirt paths.) They both wanted to start a family so I built them a new place, Pineview Drive. They now have twins boys, Ben and Longley. (Benjamin took Sierra's last name, Hill). They had a time raising twins with Benjamin still working. He had become a professional party guest, but now that he's a family man, he quit that and became a junior executive. Anyway, they invited Benjamin's best friend, Brandon Lilliard to move in and he did. He started a fire right away on the stove, but grabbed a twin off the floor and ran outside with him, so he redeemed himself. He also taught one of the twins to talk. Now, I'm going to build a house for Brandon to suit his romantic personality. That's it. I'm going to build houses for every townie I can get hold of and upload them if they look good. If you read this, please know that I'm thrilled!

Exotic Vacation Retreats

Well, it's summer and I've been dreaming of going on vacation. It's cheaper to send sims! My latest houses have been figments of my imagination of places that would be relaxing and different in which to vacation. I realize that most of these houses don't really go in the average neighborhood, although just changing the terrain paint on the "beach houses" would make them fit in any neighborhood. I highly recommend the "send your sim on vacation" game! If not you, then why not them? By the way, I think my next house might be a mountain cabin for the base game. Can't wait to try it!

To all downloaders on MTS!

Just a thanks to anyone who sees this . . . I love building lots for sims because it's like living vicariously through those little people! My own real house is nothing to write home about although I really love it and it's my favorite place to be, but in sim world I can live anywhere, have any kind of house, any kind of decor. Of course my skill level keeps me from having really fabulous houses but I can go to other awesome builders on this site for those. Anyway, the point of this is to thank all of you who have encouraged me by downloading my lots, commenting on them, or making me one of your favorites. All of that is icing on the cake! You are the best!
