Updated: 27th Jul 2005 at 4:36 AM - added sidetables
Hi guys. My first attempt at more detailed objects. The results are...well mixed. Let's just say I would be a lot happier if I didn't have to optimize polygons

Anyway, this is a dining set somewhat similar to the one I have in my apartment. Comes with chairs (armchair and regular), table and dining hutch.

As always, let me know if there are any problems.

Polygon count (damn you optimization):
Chair: 1838
Armchair: 1924
Table: 1941
Hutch: 4253 (this was the best I could do without pretty much destroying the object meshes on the shelves)

I've updated so that the objects should be recolorable. There's also a texture "map" for the hutch texture (the "base" object mesh of the desk). The hutch is 3 parts, the base, the glass and the desktop (it was cloned from a desk). The base includes the actual hutch and all the objects on the top two shelves. The glass are the wineglasses and the knobs and hinges are the desktop.

Recolors are welcome, I just ask that you keep the meshes free if you are putting them up on a paysite. :D

2005.6.22 - I have exorcised the spirit from the hutch so that it is no longer hovering above the floor. If you've downloaded the set, just redownload the individual hutch piece to replace the one in the game. If you haven't downloaded the set yet, then download both files (the "set" file includes the chairs and table, the "hutch" file is the hutch). Thanks!

2005.6.23 - As per request, here are two side tables to add to the set. The one of the left looks like it's off the ground but that's just because of the angle of the shot taken. The legs touch the ground, it's just hard to see from the angle because the table is about half the length (or is it width?) of the other.

My policy on my uploaded work is that free means free. You are free to do with them whatever you like. If you want to include them in uploaded lots, go ahead. Recolors? Please do so. Include the meshes. I only ask that you let the meshes at least be free for download.
