I am wondering if this chest responds like the others in Sims4. wy I am asking is because I have noticed no matter what you put in one chest is in every chest. I liked the chests in sims3, as they could be separated in different rooms and be used for different things. Like in a wood shop you could keep most of your inventory in the chest and not have them show up in your refind jewelry chest with your gems. Just a suggestion to think about, if this can be possible in the Sims4???? And thank you very much, I have always loved this style of chest.

This chest acts like other Sims4 chests. I very agree what you say but unfortunately I'm not able to modify this :/.
