Have you ever directed two Sims to talk to each other in a tent from Bon Voyage? Apparently I hadn't until recently, because when I did so the other day I was very surprised by the extraordinarily fugly texture change that appears on the tent when two Sims talk. For some reason EA decided to simulate the Sims lighting a lamp inside the tent, and so they put shadow outlines of two Sims on the outside of the tent. But it's so poorly executed! The tent entrance magically disappears, and all four sides of the tent look identical. That's not how shadows work! And besides, why were the two Sims sitting in total darkness until they decided to talk? And what's with the poses? That image makes it look like the two Sims are doing something very different than talking... No thank you no, I don't want this horrendous texture to pop up every time my Sims talk in a tent. So off to fix it I went!
What is this?
This is a global mod that edits the talk in tent interaction so that it never calls for the texture change. With it, Sims will happily talk in tents without the outside appearance suddenly going bananas.
Requires Bon Voyage. Compatible with all EPs released after BV.
None that I know of. Will only conflict with other mods that edit the talk in tent interaction.
