As well as being good for building from scratch, a world like this is good for viewing downloaded lots to see details before deciding what world to put them in. Designing lots and towns is all I do with the game and a fairly empty world is a good place to more quickly see if interesting uploads can be adapted to town themes.

Yay! I love Armiel's original but since I build many lots simultaneously I always have so many different saves of the same world cluttering up the main screen. Now I can streamline them into one! Happy days.

Actually it's not a thumbnail, it's the infamous counter, which attach it self to to sims3packs.
So it is actually included as .package (as you can see in the pic).

I want my Space Pony title back.. why was it there such a short time..

Is there any program other than CUSTARD able to remove it? Because like I said, I don't have that in my game, so I can't figure out why it's even there / how to remove it from my file.

I'm not sure how you think it breaks it Q, but I used CUSTARD and saved as a new sims3pack without that object and it installed fine. Even with the game launcher!

Okay, CUSTARD errors out when opening new sims3package. Found new thing!

Download S3Pack. Unpack sims3package, delete the .package that is smaller (counter), then repack the remaining .package with S3Pack.

Nope :/ MTS still won't accept the file; it gives me an error 500 message.

It's cool. Looking forward to try it out when it's safe. But shouldn't you delete the file for now until you fix it, cause while you're discussing the counter here, people actually download it and might not look through comments before installing it.

I agree with Lamare that you should delete the file for now until it gets fixed. I actually downloaded your world and then uploaded a house on MTS and one of the downloaders discovered this counter in the sims3pack - It is really dangerous since you uploaded such an amazing thing which all builders are gonna use - it means that it can spread that counter all over the building community of MTS :D
I had to delete your world in order to delete that counter - so I hope that I can have it again soon - I really love your world

Is repacking it as sims3pack necessary? I've unpacked it with "lepid llama unpacker"
(Multi Sims3Pack Extractor also works), renamed the extension of the biggest file as .world
and put the file in: TS3InstallationDirectory/GameData/Shared/NonPackaged/Worlds/
EDIT: maybe distributing it as .world is against the rules or maybe there are other practical
reasons to not do that, sorry if I wasn't helpful.

On another note, mock me all you want, but I'd like to use it to play, it has my ideal size
for both performance (I've a low end notebook) and setting reasons. Any chance you could
check if there are issues? I ask this because I can't use CAW or I'll do it myself.
I realize its main purpose is for building and testing, but I think I noticed some routing issues
with the beach/sea and the original Builders' Island has problems with basements
(its author word, I haven't verified). Whatever you choose, thanks for doing this.

I've temporarioly deleted the file; if someone has managed to successfully separate the world file and is willing to send it my way, I'd be super appreciative. I have tried to remove it but I am obviously doing something wrong, as MTS just doesn't accept the file after I remove the piece of CC. Let me know! Hopefully this will be back up tonight!

I've updated the file for you Q. The magnifying glass still shows type as object, but that is a quirk with that. If you look in CUSTARD it says the type is world and it is the only thing in the sims3pack.

You are gonna need to clear out your caches and DC folders to rid yourself of the counter that most likely hitched a ride to a sims3pack.

Thank you so much for this, I always used Armiel's but it's super tiny.

Quick question: does the world have all the spawners? In other words, is it "livable"? I often play on smaller worlds for performance reasons, and this would make a lovely little island town. Besides, the smaller the world the bigger control freak I can be about it. :P

There are no spawners on it, unfortunately -- I'll have to keep that in mind for next time!
