The Shaer's just moved to town after a very long plane ride. Now it's time for them to settle in. Are they going to make a home out of this place? Will Layla and Sarah fit in among their new colleagues at school? Can Nadia finally sit down and rest her feet?
  • Amin Shaer (Adult, Knowledge, Pisces,Test Subject): Amin and his family moved to Mountainside Valley, seeking a better quality life. He wants to make sure everything is well. He tends to make choices rapidly which could end up badly.
  • Nadia Shaer (Adult, Family, Virgo): Nadia wasn't quite sure about this move, she loves her family and husband and is willing to take any chances that could definitely provide the best living standards. She's tired and refuses to move again. It's time to focus on other things: her career life, perhaps?
  • Layla Shaer (Teen, Popularity, Leo, Public School Student): Layla felt her life came to an end when her parents decided it was best to move. She misses her old friends since she doesn't know anyone here. Maybe it's time for her to explore the town rather than stay at home and complain?
  • Sarah Shaer (Child, Grow Up, Aries, Public School Student): Sarah never got the chance to settle well into her old school before her family moved to this new place. Hopefully this is where they're going to stay for good!
  • Adil Shaer (Toddler, Grow Up, Sagittarius): Adil; the only person that never suffered from the aftermath of this move. Talk about the right timing!

Violet loves to throw parties whenever she gets the chance. Grey wishes she doesn't and just wants to return home to a quiet place. It's not like their twins are any helpful in that matter.
  • Grey Kurtin (Adult, Fortune, Virgo, Mailroom Technician): After a long tiresome day at work, Grey just wants to come home, sit on the couch, and watch TV!
  • Violet Kurtin (Adult, Popularity, Leo, Lobbyist): Violet's career requires attendance and planning of several social events (not to mention meeting a lot of people). This has had its stake on Grey.
  • Cyan Kurtin (Teen, Popularity, Libra, Public School Student): Cyan can be a bit troublesome. His mother's career shines a lot of attention over the whole family. Can he behave himself for the sake of their reputation around town?
  • Green Kurtin (Teen, Knowledge, Libra, Public School Student): Often gone unnoticed, Green stays up in his room for hours. He's a loner. Much like his father.

The Treah's have been popping out kids whenever they get the chance. They try to make sure that the nest is never empty, but that can't go on forever.
  • Forest Treah (Adult, Family, Sagittarius): Forest loves his family and his wife. He always wanted to have a lot of children. But Forest has to get a job soon. He cannot be unemployed all his life. If so, he wouldn't be able to pay the bills and his family would have to move out.
  • Willow Treah (Adult, Family, Capricorn): Willow loves children and cannot live without them. Her goal is to have 10 children and 20 grandchildren. She knows that her husband has to get a job soon but she still wants to have a lot of children. Can she reach her goal? Even if Forest is working?
  • Acacia Treah (Teen, Fortune, Aries, Public School Student): Acacia has to look after her younger siblings quite often. She wants to be an artist rather than a babysitter. She's actually quite creative and has some potential for those careers.
  • Ash Treah (Child, Grow Up, Capricorn, Public School Student): Ash enjoys watching TV and is quite playful. He often plays hide-and-seek with his sister whenever he's bored.
  • Kamilah Treah (Child, Grow Up, Cancer, Public School Student): Kamilah loves to be outside and sometimes plays hide-and-seek with her brother.
  • Banyan Treah (Toddler, Pisces, Cancer): Banyan is a quiet toddler. Nobody knows what he's going to tear or break next...

Deliah decided to move after her husband died in a house fire. She wants to start a new life in Mountainside Valley and dreams of being a grandmother. Unfortunately all of her triplets are busy with other things. Especially Sheila, she still can't get over her father's sudden death.
  • Deliah Rhein (Elder, Family, Virgo): Deliah cannot wait to be a grandmother. Unfortunately all of her triplets would make bad mothers so she would be the one who's going to raise all the children. Deliah wouldn't actually mind it but her triplets may do.
  • Cecilia Rhein (Adult, Romance, Cancer, Golf Caddy): Cecilia wants to find her own place soon because she doesn't want to hear any grandchildren wishes or any other annoying sentences from her mother. All she wants is ... party, party, PARTAAAY!
  • Mathilda Rhein (Adult, Fortune, Cancer, Mailroom Technician): Mathilda loves her family but nothing is more important to her than a solid career! She's looking forward to find her own place just like her sister Cecilia and earn a lot of money.
  • Sheila Rhein (Adult, Family, Cancer, Recruit): Unlike her triplets sisters, Sheila is shy and rarely goes out. She's always upset and nothing can cheer her up. She couldn't get over her fathers death yet and gets annoyed by her mother with those silly grandchildren sentences.

Jules and Virginia never expected that Ryan would run away someday. They have no idea where he went and are worried sick about him. Will he ever come back?
  • Jules McCormick (Adult, Knowledge, Cancer, Emergency Medical Technician): Is it Jules fault that Ryan has run away? Probably, because he kinda tried to organise his life. Maybe he should have given him more space and independence before he ran away. By the way, it's time to focus on his career, more or less.
  • Virginia McCormick (Adult, Knowledge, Scorpio, Emergency Medical Technician): Virginia wasn't aware of how Ryan felt. Well, she changed a lot. She won't be that strict anymore. All she wants is Ryan back home. She just wants a second chance. Anyway, she will become an elder soon. Maybe it's time for another child, before it's too late.

Stuart was surprised when his nephew knocked on the door and begged for an accommodation. Craig and Robin wouldn't mind it so they have welcomed him in. Stuart is a bit doubtful, though.
  • Stuart McCormick (Elder, Popularity, Aries): It's not like Stuart doesn't love his nephew but Ryan has to return to home. Otherwise, his parents will worry to death. Stuart has never had any kids and doesn't think that he's going to be a good 'father' figure for Ryan.
  • Craig Bailey (Adult, Romance, Leo): Craig enjoys having multiple lovers at once. That Violet was just the start! The more, the merrier... But it's time to focus on something different now. He can't party all his life. He has to work too.
  • Robin Moore (Adult, Knowledge, Pisces, Test Subject): Robin's been bullied a lot in the past. As a kid, he was fascinated by science and wanted to be a scientist. Well, he's still really keen on science and still wants to be a scientist.
  • Ryan McCormick (Teen, Popularity, Libra, Public School Student): Ryan didn't get on quite well with his parents and decided to run away. Uncle Stuart seemed to be his only hope. Fortunately he accepted Ryan and now lives along with him and two other roomates.

We've created this cemetary lot for those who have Nightlife or higher. You can move your urnstones to this cemetary. You need Nightlife for this. If you don't have Nightlife but later EPs. Then you can put the urnstone into the inventory of any sim and visit the cemetary lot with that sim. Then you can click on the ground and choose the option to place the tombstone.
