Thank you so much , this will be a great addition to Echo's carnival lot. I'm sure I'll find several other uses for it as well. A couple of questions regarding the NPC facet , is this new NPC (safely) interactable with by means of teleporting , phone or other? If several of the booths are placed on a lot simultaneously will they continue to spawn new NPC's for this role? I use a modified ( by Chris Hatch) gypsy NPC that creates gypsies as adult , rather than elder females , are this NPC's similarities to the gypsy purely cosmetic ( appearance) or do they share coding or other features? Thanks so much for creating and sharing this game enhancement , much appreciated!

Thanks, everyone.

MOOKIEBLAYLOCK: This NPC is like Echo's Clown NPC. Sims should not be able to create a relationship to her by normal in-game means. I would recommend not creating a relationship with her via mods. If there are multiple booths on a lot, each booth will spawn their own instance of the NPC. It's the same as with Echo's Clown podiums. Claira isn't like other matchmakers; she's an independent girl. But if you have any default replacements of the matchmakers outfit and hair, they will be affected.

I don't mind if you call me "MSD" or something for short.

I can't wait to try this out! It kind of reminds me a little of the Makin' Magic expansion pack from the Sims 1 and the fortune telling machine that came with that. I may use it in a carnival themed lot!

I have a question. Do we require all the 3 EPs you listed or any one of them will do? Because I have Nightlife & Seasons but not University.

MJSpice: Yes, you will need all three EPs listed because I use resources from all three.

Gooh: Now, don't be ruining the surprise for Sims99Fanatic...

Beside the awesomeness of the object itself, your description has that quirky Sims flair to it. Good job! :D

I'd like to know, though. Is it possible to edit the appearance of Claira?

nenekijah: Thanks. I like objects to have good descriptions. It is possible to change Claira's appearance. If you want to do a one-time change (such as for story telling), you might could use a mod like InSim or SimBlender to give her a makeover. If you want to change how Claira permanently (for all future instances), you'll have to do a little more work. Create your desired Sim and dress her. Then open her .package file and Claira's .package file. I don't remember what resources inside the file compose what on the Sim. But you will basically replace the resources of Claira's .package file with that of your Sim's .package file. Leave all the other resources in Claira's .package file (such as the BHAVs, OBJD, and Text Lists) alone.

Thanks, everyone, for all the comments, the downloads, and for hitting that "Thanks" button. :D

This? Is one piece of sheer awesomeness. I'm tempted to build a carnival lot, just so I can use this in the proper setting; I don't think Claira would like sitting in some dusky corner at the supermarket - and who knows what kind of fortunes she'd be telling then.

Great job, MSD!

great work, thank you.

Just some questions..

SPOILER, ATTENTION!

I used the option "try to steal money" and now I have four miss Crumplebottom on my lot.
It's so funny but I'm a bit worried..
when they'll go away?
Now I have five mss Crumplebottom on my neighborhood?
Is it safe to delete them?

Thanks a lot for the answers

Please, sorry for my bad English..

Nightlight: They will leave after a number of Sim hours have passed. I don't remember how many. Six or seven Sim hours? To be clear, your hood should still only have one Ms. Crumplebottom; there were just several instances of her summoned to the lot. I like to think they are the Fates personified, always knitting the threads of destiny.

You use miss Crumplebottom in this object? Uhm, I've heard some bugs when people were doing something with her and it causes crashes. May this object cause something buggy?? I can't wait to use this new object
