Does this stereo have the same problems that most other invisible items have, namely not being able to move or delete them once placed?

so does this mean that people can make invisible floor tiles that would be so cool thanks for showing everyone that objects can be invisible

But it is not invisible... it is only partially invisible.. like a ghost, its appearance changes as you watch it. And I had no trouble deleting and moving it here.

Thank you Wes!

I just wanted to say that I truly appreciate all of the effort and hard work that you are bringing to the Sims 3 community. I am very thankful for everything you've done, and making it possible for me to make my own stuff.

You are a exceptional person with an immense amount of talent.

I am sorry, I was sort of answering the first post. Certainly, invisible tiles would be useful for some stuff, as well as glass (which is really not-quite invisible). While there must be a way to do it, I am not sure if this technique is applicable to all building stuff, perhaps more for the buy-mode things.

Anyway, I make very few things... I have 8 downloads from about 5 years of Sims modding. But what things I do make are part of an effort to demonstrate new techniques in modding.

I leave the serious creation work to talented people like Fresh-Prince.

This will look awesome if you can get a sim who died of electrocution to come back as a ghost and dance to the music from the ghost stereo. Great work, Wes

Hey Wes,
Cool mod.. Great work. I hope this takes off and we see more ghost objects.

I was just wondering if you are aware of the shadow that is emitted from this ghost stereo. I've attached a couple of pics to show you what I mean. Just in case this info might help.. my video card is a NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GTS and I have all my in game graphic settings on the highest.

Thanks

Does it means that's posible to make a invisible roof (I really mean the roof, the one with a lot of options, and angle bar...u know...)?....

I almost skipped over this post since the screen was "ghostly" XD I won't really be doing anything, but just wanted to say, Ooooo neat!

Thanks for the report. I have this fixed, it was an issue in the ObjTool that made the groundshadows very, very large. It has been that way for a while, but they didn't display properly, so you couldn't see the problem.
